Thats an understatement, a group of 4 of us (me as RM, 1 healer, 1 shaman, 1 tank) we were low 40's but still we found ourselves at the Alb side of DF, there was a single cabby on the steps, his pet totally raped us

The reason i think Vallewalkers are op is the same people think bd's are op, i havent played VW but 1 killed my shadowblade and another SB i was duoing with.

Have both a 50 vw and a 50 bd. Can tell you for sure that the bd is mighty overpowered, while the vw is not. Dont go call a class overpowered, judging from just one single encounter. One encounter you someway must have fugged up. Unless he jumped you both when you were hitting someone else and got to nuke or start with positionals.

Edit by Edith: Not actually saying that its very hard killing 2 people solo in the game at the moment, with all the abilities, RAs, artfacts, pots, bots, reactives, uber drops, glitter and glamour and pink purses that comes with the 2 expansions. But still, judging an entire class from one meeting... nopes

Lem'me help you: Dark nuke, strenght debuff, dex debuff, body debuff, root, quic cast. I think thats more buttons a runemaster is using ^^

RMs can be specced in helluvalot more ways than bds..

not that it matters much.. dark nuke, strength/dex debuff, root are all baseline. all casters has quickcast..

if darkcarve or dark specced runies has access to dark debuff so that pretty much covers up all you mentioned..

ohh and except for this you have bolts, ae-dmg, nearsight and possibly confusion for thurgpets

you dont need skill in this game for any class.

As someone mentioned before, this comes down to your definition of skill..

Personaly Id say something that requires skill is something you can get better at..

Lets assume we have 2 fgs, both with identical classes & equipment and both with flawless knowledge of the abilities for each and every class in game. The only diffrence between the groups would be that one of them has a vast experience of rvr, whereas the other has never ever tried rvr.

Which do you think would win?

Just as well, its bad enough having Simmy love juice pumped up your ass once in a lifetime. But twice is silly, they definatly won a phsycological (sp?) victory with that. Whenever I see a cabby I start crying and run away from my PC.

Bonedancers can be speced in many ways too, unfortunetly other spec than suppression sucks in solo rvr at the moment. Maybe if mythic makes dark/bonearmy pets lil better? With supp/dark spec and double nuking i do allmost as much damage as dark runemasters (every 4 seconds) . Giving up lifetap for green pets that hit 25 damage? No thanks.
Yes runemasters have access to dex and strenght debuffs too but they usually dont need them, BD (and maybe SM) MUST use debuffs to survive melee encounters.
