If they were even con enemies then they really need to find another game... 3 people should never lose to a bd unless totally clueless, especially if they have a mezzing class. BD's aren't high DPS classes, they excel 1v1 against a lot of classes but that's because they have staying power.

what? i played since release and only just quit. about what you said there - what the fuck has that got to do with anything? i never said anyhting about "smashing all these buttons" i said you dont need skill for any class. a BD has 1 button to press, another class has 3. how is it any harder to press 3 buttons? you move your mouse/finger a little bit more. ok maybe its 6 buttons, still harder? nope.
its not skill to press the buttons in the right order. and yes thats all it comes down to in the end. in all my years playing i never found anything that made me think, anything that was difficult or anything which stumped me because i didnt know the order to press the buttons.
only games which require some level skill are strategy or FPS. and yes FPS does need some level of skill because without good hand/eye co-ordination your fucked. and hand/eye co-ordination IS a skill.

maybe your offended or something i dont know, but if you think its skill to press the buttons in the right order then good for you!

Wrong. For example Bonehead and Taika get a lot more out of the class than any of other bonedancers on excal.

I think it was meril who was commenting a grpo with BD, and later the same evening we took taika to group, when I asked him that I thought he didnt appreciate BDs, he said:

i will make it simple - simply pressing a button is not skill in anyway. its not hard to know when to heal. if life is less than 100% = heal, OMFG THE SKILLZ IN THAT MY BRAIN WILL EXPLODE.

you know if your stood behind someone, do a rear positional. really, does that equate to skill to you? another example you just blocked a hit, oh maybe you should start a chain!

how the fuck is that skill? being able to drive a car safely is skill, getting a 100 break in snooker is skill. pressing a button is not! do you understand that better now?

in the end DAOC comes down to pressing buttons, soemtimes you need to time inbetween button presses but it doesnt really challenge the mind does it?! maybe it does for you, is that why you are so defensive?

Bonedancers are easy enough to kill if you know what you're doing. Unlike a lot of caster classes you can't just /stick attack /afk

If three people can't kill a Bonedancer, then that's just their lousy play

i have no skill in daoc, because daoc does not need skill. simple tbh. the only thing i found hard was when i first started i.e. con of mobs, locations etc. trying to fight a mob required no skill at level 1. at level; 50 it required no skill still. in rvr at level 30 when everyone just started it required no skill, at level 50 it still did not need skill.

i know that some people rate succes in life by their daoc achievments (no im not fucking about, people posted seriously they are like that). maybe some of you are like this also which is why you say daoc needs skill. if daoc required no skill, what would these people think of them selves then? i hope you understand because i cannot put this anymore simple.
