OMG nerf this and OMG nerf that

Seriosully getting tired of OMG NERF this and that. Of course some classes are overpowered like supp BD(but they arent impossible ot kill, they got some major weakness to). But most people that can kill spam or totally own you(exept BDs that can acctually kill spam everywhere withotu wearing anything at all(staff and cloth included) exept using base spell) are sooo twinked, everyoen can be really good but it costs, like nerf hunters,scouts or ranger well DO you know how much arrows cost? Because thats what makes the difference, and DO you know how hard it is to acctually get in the position to kill you that quick and hit that hard?

Ill just got one thing to say,

BEFORE whining nerf why not start a character of that class and try it out and then come back and ask for nerfs. Ive had a BD and IM saying nerf anyway

10 sec timer on their insta and add an casting time life tap would fix the problem.

Played infil, ranger and now a scout in BG. Arrows cost 72s in a batch of 20 (if you take the best ones, longest range/best accuracy/most dmg)

BD takes no skill, I am sorry. Everyone can press the insta-lifetap button every 4 seconds.

I am not even trying to attack a BD anymore with my scout unless I am sure he has no BT up and standing still so I can try a critshot and hope to kill him before he does /face and insta nuke from range 1500.

Sure you can kill the pets but: How long does it take for the BD to spot you and starting nuking/interrupting you.

About the rest: Bollocks. It's piss-easy to kill someone with an archer class. If you play smart hunters and rangers also got a 'get out of jail card' in their magic line in the form of a speed-spell.

You stealth and see a target: You check target his armour and choose appropiate arrows. You wait till he either stands still or, if you feel confident, try with normal shots. Otherwise stand-still, critshot. Sorry, but it's easy.. I do it all the time, got no problems with it.

Agreed, but played a couple of stealther-classes now and it's not that hard. Stealth makes you quite uber in BG <you> pick the fight. It's a luxury alot of other classes don't have. In the BG's any stealther-class has a tremendous advantage.

BD is overpowered. Everything goes down unless:

a) He's out of mana.
b) He's outnumbered by more then 2 enemies.
c) He's stunned and diseased and meets someone who can deal lots of damage in little time (might be assassin).

Gimp archer, sorry but Lt = 1500 range, all archers = a bloody lot further, try actually shooting from max range....

Sure in bg a sup bd is powerfull, but stop crying nerfs based on bg crap!! in main rvr sup bd is very avarage, sure still good 1v1 but zerg vs zerg, 1 ae dot or 1 ae mezz = very dead bd!!

Ohh hang on you get Ae mezz and Ae dot in bg, god forbid anyone might think of a tactic vs bd.. Face it the real reason everyone yells nerf bd is coz they cant handle idea of a caster who dosent die in 1-2 hits with full mana..

i am tired of evryone saying that about bd, yes it is true, but it is nearly the same with all other casters, they got one or 2 spells to cast and all they do in combat is pount the button.

it is actuly harder being a bd when soloing then with other caster classes when vs 2+ (properly becaus most other caster clases might as well just lie down and die once in melee range), you need a basic knowlede of the enemy realms, what clases got cc, aoe dd/dot/disese, so you know who to go after first so you can suvive.

im pretty tired of people trying to justify that BDs aint overpowered at least in the bgs.

I havent yet had to opertunity to meet a bd in the real rvr, but ive heard they should be less overpowered at 50.

im not trying to start a flamewar here, but why does people say use tactics when facing a bonedancer?
ask yourself : which other classes do you need to use tactics to kill? the straight answer is none and that is the way it should be for all classes. Everyone should have a chance against any other class in someway.

best way to fix bonedancers IMO would be to double or tripple the damage of the instant lifedrain, but put it on a 20sec recast timer.

Yes they are good in bgs really good actually (can kill 3 vs 1 if the right classes nothing that does alot of dmg)

But at lvl 50 they suck pets cant kill anyone, your lifetap does to little dmg to be more than an interrupt, your dark dd will suck cus your full supp, if not full supp youll suck even more..

So maybe nerf bds at bg lvls but buff them at 50 and ill be happy.

have U ever TRYED playing an Archer?...

PvE is pretty easy, then U can go maximum range any day... but RvR is a whole other world m8, U have to choose correct arrows, be at maximum range and ofc stealthed...
the BIG difference between PvE and RvR is that the guy you are trying to shoot at is actully MOVING! ... so don't come yappin about that we don't go at max range! ... Normallly I would say Im at like 1850 range ... but that is still less then 2 secs away from the instant DD! (reaction time, /face + runtime ~ 2sec)

if I see a Skald running, with speed ofc, then from the time that I see him, till I have an arrow hitting him, takes like 3-4 secs, and at that point, he has either run away from me, or is running towards me !

I didn't level to 50, but I meet some in RvR.. And perhaps they suck in big-scale RvR but:

a) They need less heals then any other caster out there
b) They meet same resists as any other caster out there
c) Being a pet class involves dealing with interrupts for other opponents
d) Having an insta 1500 range nuke on 4 sec timer means another way of interrupting other casters
e) You don't have to worry about interrupts being your main offense is an insta
f) They got access to a race which is more like a tank-race (troll).

If you see a Highlander you don't think: OK, that's a caster. Well, with a troll that's possible now

Perhaps the BD has issues in RvR, but all other casters have issues (except debuffers for own damage).

IMO BD's aren't perfect for normal RvR but not gimped too. They're perfect to interrupt other classes and interrupts are important to win a fight against casters. Guess which realms use casters alot in RvR....

I have found bds annoying but the only thing i would change would be to make the insta dd 1300 range. Too harsh if their only role in RvR is an interrupt class, don't know all that much about them so if it is forget about it but otherwise 1300 on an insta sounds fair to me.

For an example in DF I meet a BD with my necro, there where also a group of 4 lvls 50s(theurgist,pally,friar and someone else)

Now a lvl 50 BD in epic comes to pay a visit now the BD killed me(wasnt 50 yet) and the other 4.

Now that uber ok? But if it wasnt enough he also kills 3 orange mobs(to him red for me) solo that aggroed him while fighting us.

They dont need nerfing? STFU lol, they are by faaar the best 1vs1 or 1vs8 profession.

Rofl please say this is a bd takeing the piss post, if not please delete all your chars, and rest of that grp, coz DaoC is far to hard for you... My 5 yr old daughter has a game called Green eggs and Ham i think it may be a good game for a grp who cant kill 1 bd

I was 42 so cant blaim me the other might have sucked(rather bad tactics but still BDs are way to overpowered, why do you think 50% of PvP servers population are BDs
