When i moved from london right into the thick of the scouse community i kinda felt left out a little, i had no clue of the way they dressed or what is pud and what isnt, so like most ppl would i tryed to copy and wear nike etc.. but i always got it wrong in some part, so i went gothy at about 13 to 16, but i never rly fell for the "omg we hate our lives, nobody understands us, we are diffrent" goth bullshit, We are all diffrent from eachother ... but that doesnt mean u have to walk around lookin like a f0kin german pud!
I dont like the scouse accent, mainly becoz my mum told me i dont like it when I was a kid, but living in Liverpool for 15 years now, its kinda hard not to talk it so every time i talk i try not to sound scouse.
Now that I've started this new course, there are loads of scousers and woolybacks (ppl who try to act scouse when they dont even live in liverpool) and i found out they r very nice ppl, also I tryed to figure out what my background was, im a black or white.
After some thinking i've come to notice, im abit of both and i now gladly accept my scouse side becoz thats a big part of me weather i like it or not but i do understand when not to have the accent, Job Interviews, at home/work and with adults (age 30+ etc..)
There is a time and a place to act mature or to act yourself, i know this so im happy to be scouse, just thought i'd let you know I've come to terms with myself and i feel like a huge rock has been takin out of my thinking mind and im happy as christmas pud
