List of special roles (all but vanilla and goon is special) that might be to be found in this game:

Cop (sane)
Doctor (sane)
Vigilante (normal)
Masons
Psychiatrist
Godfather
Mafia Roleblocker

Serial Killer
The useless Super-powered townie
The Author (Both mafia and townie version possible)

That being said, no guarantee that any of these roles are present!

I do find it abit disturbing that no one has found it even moderatly odd that amenitas sudden "pop" less than an hour after i brought dout to her name, after having been afk for 2 days?

and Levin & toht being quick to defend her, where they've jumped on all others that seem even slightly guilty?

am I the only one seeing something fishy here ?

I've kept my eye on Amanita all the time, just that i've been concentrating more on Rubric and Lethul, and Vasc early on. The problem with Amanita is that she's been so quiet, that there's no real pointers anywhere. This doesn't say she's not just keeping quiet to hide from votes, but i'm in NO WAY defending her.

I've neither jumped on anyone for being slightly guilty, i've used, atleast i think, reasoning on all my accusations. then again i might be blinded by my own notebook. Which is why i say things, so i get other perspectives.

True, but if me and levin were mafia, now we'd most definetaly do it, just because you suspected and said that. But then if i said this, then we couldn't, because it would be too obvious, but when i say it's too obvious, maybe it's the only way to do it and not seem obvious?

Oh great move.. now the REAL mafia might do it to make it look like us. On the other hand, they might not, now that I mentioned it.

As for Amanita I am not defending her in any way for being quiet. All I did was pointing out that she's indeed a she and not a he, since i thought it looked funny. I have no opinion on whether she's mafia or not.

I'm thinking amanitas tactic is the most sane one around.

reason if your mafia it will be to obviouse, and if your not the mafia know that I'm amost prob a vanilla townie and they know that the rest wont jump the get toht and levin wagon as it's too obviouse and easy

but tbh i dont mind biting the bullet, as i'm a "cheap" loss for the town

About the established roles.. ah yes you're right. We have a sane cop and no insane one. Good good. But the thing is we can't know for sure if someone is innocent even if the cop says so, because that someone could instead be the Godfather. We'd only know for sure if the cop points someone out as mafia. And the cop would commit suicide if he's false and points out a townie, because then he'll get lynched the very next day.

Still, chances of the cop nailing a mafia are slim, particularly since one of them might be undetectable.

By the way guys have you realized how much of a balance this is? As a townie, on the one hand you don't want to act too suspicious because then you get lynched. But on the other hand, you don't want to be an obvious townie, because then you're likely to get murdered. I imagine the mafia want to keep as many "uncertain" people left as possible, so as to throw the suspicions away from themselves.

That's true. It's a really fine line in both sides, not to get hanged for no reason and not to get hanged for a mistake.

I've always owndered how it would work if a mafia guy screamed all the live long day(pun intentional) that he's mafia and wants to get hanged.

So in my eyes, suspicious townies are safe from the mafia but risk getting lynched - and non suspicious townies are safe from lynching but risk getting murdered. Or at least they SHOULD risk getting murdered if the mafia are using their brains.

Seriously guys, you really shouldn't think THAT much.

Its way too soon in this game to start figuring things out. Just let it play and you will get a feeling about certain persons. So far it worked pretty good for me.

I'm playing a game now on the real site with 30 persons, there are like 2 mafia family's, cult recruiters, sk's , viligants, few cops (not all sane). its insane

Sorry Seel but you really should turn your attentions elsewhere. Unless of course you are performing all this jumping on posts with accusations for another reason. Such as to divert attention away from yourself.

TBH i am finding this game quite difficult as i have no role to play. Always had something before but this is my fist outing as a vanilla townie.

Oh i'm not turning it, i'm just keeping my mind open and judging things as they pop up.

I've only voted twice, once for Vasc and then towards Lethul as it seemed like a logical move(see previous words about you and lethul being mafia). I've always had my eye on you, but then, it's all based on the first day so all is open.

More like, cautious testing of waters and thinking out loud.

Aye, 7 votes for nolynch was at one point so this day is unofficially over(i think), though Vasc has been so quiet that my attention is turning back again.

If i was, do you really think i'd be so obvious. Come on! Or would i be?

But, about the night. Have to say no big suprise there, i'm thinking for anyone, went pretty much as Levin said. More quiet ones gettings snatched and left us with none the wiser. Was thinking amanita would be offed, but then again they might think we'll hang her for being too quiet.

I'd say the safest bet for now, would be to just give the day some time, maybe someone "dug up" something during the night.
