You can say that again I think I just spent 30 minutes trying to get my characters skin colour right - just made it out of the sewers, graphics really hit you when you first get outside

btw any of you getting any framerate/long loading times? its a fact that there is either dodgy disks floating about because just too many people are complaining about these issues and its just making me down right paranoid :( still getting the game but i'm preparing myself for a hit and miss.

This game is just stunning so far the graphics are the best ive seen on the 360 and the gameplay feels great too.

In MW the combat was kind of slow/boring but here it feels more fluid etc damn anyway back to the game :D

Well it arrived this morning had it delivered to work so the postman couldn't say he tried to deliver it and take it back to the PO, everybody was wondering why I was getting excited about the post, i've driven to work so that when I go home for lunch I can spend as much time as poss playing it, then I will have to wait 10hrs before I get home again and play it to the early hours.

I went with a Redguard and did a custom class, mainly melee focused.

Got myself a amulet that gives me unlimted breath underwater, rather neat.

WoodElf-Thief here i made an Imperial to start with as i want to become a Vampire.. but Impierals don't have the high agil etc for a Thief. But a Woodelf isn't too none human like visualy so i went with that.. some how i thought a Cat Vampire would feel rather odd.

Damn the game is just freaking awsome so far.. blows everything else for the 360 away big time.

Just got back from lunch and OMFG!!!!!! its amazing granted I've only just got to the bit after Patrick Stewart dies, but it looks and plays great, still having to get used to the new magic system, but I spent 10minutes just firing arrows at the bucket above the well, as you start out. I just can't wait till tonight now when I get to play it fully, I have selected an Imperial Spellsword even though the guard thought I was a Monk a Monk? was he mad.

The guard described me as a Nightblade which was basicaly how i'd played it up to that point, not enough of the magic mojo for my liking so I replaced some of the physical skills with magic based ones and called it a *cough* Witchblade. Gave her (yes her) the following attributes, bear in mind this is the first time i've played this series so it's a mishmash of abilities

  • Alchemy
  • Alteration
  • Conjuring
  • Destruction
  • Light Armour
  • Restoration
  • Speech
Oddly enough for the name Witchblade, there isn't actually a blade skill in there, ah well, emphasis on witch then ;) Only actually noticed that it wasn't there afterwards and couldn't be arsed changing it.

Agree the game is just stunning, it juts about a good bit on my 2500/9800pro/1gig ram but is still very playable (ordered a 6800gs and will likely set about seeing if overclocking the cpu will hold). Having to put it down so I can go get me mam something for Mother's day (bloody thing, bah).

Nvidia cards have been having framerate issues.. stick with ATI imo.

Back to the game, i just cannot believe the level of detail in the game.. its really amazing how much thought and time they have put into the game.. easily the best singleplayer experiance i've had in a few years now. The whole reason i left consoles alone for abit was the singleplayer games got a little too mundane and boring really.

But this is just Next Gen stuff imo i'm dieing to see what these people can do in a years time because i'm willing to put money on the fact that they will make alot more money from the console version then the PC version so heres hoping they continue to support the 360 and give us expansion packs etc.

Ive read somewhere they're planning on expansions through Marketplace, not sure if it's true or not, hope so.Would be a shame to only have pc users get the expansion they already have the construction set.

About the game it's the most fun ive had in an rpg for a long time.Morrowind was good but too much of it annoyed me,quest log was aweful. It's great how you can do whatever you want.Main Quest, random small quest, just wander round the map looking for dungeons/ruins or even just follow people about and see what the RAI does :).The look of the game helps too.Gonna go play some more now, seeya :).

Anyone tried murdering anyone yet? im doing a quest called Paranoia.. had to spy on these guys for abit then at the end the dude wants you to kill them.

Anyway so i tried killing one at about 3am in the morning while they slept.. no matter what i did as soon as i got outside the house the guards were pretty much after me.

Any tips if someone has done a murder successfully?

I'm a bit lost as to what to do I've made 3 chars so far and everytime I get about an hour into the game I start having seconds thoughts about the class I've gone with, damn my indecision :(

I was like that at first too but i knew i wanted to be in the Dark Brotherhood so it had to be a stealthy class, although you don't have too but i also wanted to be a Vampire.. (i am one now and the stat increases are amazing).

Just pick one or better yet make a custom class and get on with this amazing game :)

Quickest way to ruin ANY rpg :p

If you must do that, create a save just before you confirm your character in the sewers.

TES has the most flexible character creation ever whilst in game so just releax, you can probably do what you want anyway :)

It's a great game tbh, so many specilisations etc.. I made a orc berserker atm.. have about 3hours played time still didn't deliver amulet ;d

I am tempted to remake a stealthy lockpick class tho, it's fun to break into houses etc and steal sttuff :D

One of the reasons why i don't make a Warrior in any game its like ''cool i hit stuff hard but thats all i do'' gets kinda boring fast.

Loving my Thief.

Ive hardly touched the main quest either ive delivered the amulet thats it lol :)

Heh, same here Aada, pissed off into the wilderness now doing random things, enjoying me character, using Mysticism, Altercation and Conjuration in tandem with blades is fun.

Now I just need to get a better sense of direction and stop being lost all the time :(
