A shiny penny for the first correct answer.

Its Blood on the Motorway by DJ Shadow. Absolutely stonking song and the advert does not do it justice, theres even a bit of singing in it. Really nice tune.

Its towards the end of The Private Press, the piano bit you hear in the advert isnt all the way through and the ending is just big heavy beats, but still a nice ermmm sobering song.

Very disjointed too.

I don't think it is that chum.

The new O2 ad with the speakers in different places and stuff, its about the downloading music to your phone gubbins.

I think ive seen that advert but cant remember if its the same tune thats been played for the last 3-4 mnths on 02's adverts, with all the pillars and bubbles and blueness. Boltons or something.

If it is that tune i am right, but if theres a new one, god knows. Cant remember it.

That song is the old one I have found out(the one Doomy said), the new one is very bass biased and also disjointed.

I NEED THAT TUNE!!

I always use Commercial Breaks and Beats to find whatever songs are on adverts. Sometimes it's a little behind but most of the time it's ok.

Typing in o2 did indeed show the DJ Shadow song.

I have found three answers :

1) Leftfield - x2 tracks Release The Pressure and Song of Life. (Leftism)
2) Fat Boy Slim - released and claimed unreleased material
3) gogo undergorund/ move to the moon by simon thornton << :eek2:

*thinks

Are you talking about the one from the music downloader recent adverts or the tune with the piano from nearly every other O2 advert? If it's the piano one then the tune is "Blood On The Motorway" by DJ Shadow, although they have used "Release The Pressure" by Leftfield in the past. You could try asking in the forum at http://www.commercialbreaksandbeats.co.uk/ if neither of these is the one.

Pretty much back to CBB.co.uk again, as said before. Has anyone posted and asked?

No mate, the O2 one with the speakers. The one about downloading music to your O2 mobile etc.

See here. Tis indeed Simon Thornton/Fatboy Slim, as of yet unreleased, but i'm guessing from the advert reaction they're going to release it as a single :)
