The US has the best air force in the world, it's scary how many planes they could have flying around in their own country if they were attacked.

I think you sort of forget America has a massive sea either side of them, and they've got one of the biggest/bestestestest navies in the world, the Chinese got chuffed when they bought a new aircraft carrier that was like half the size of the Yanks smallest Aircraft carrier, I don't even think a billion people could make a human bridge across either sea tbh, sure Europe would go, but I think America would get through it pretty decently

What I found so courageous was South Koreans response to the scrapping of the treaties they basically said, go on, nuke us you cunts, you'll get blown out of existence.

As if to say, we don't give a shit if you blow our capital, America will blow your country

I think you forget how much the US owe China. China can financially cripple the US. They wouldn't need to go to war.

The Chinese share a border with plenty of other countries of various political persuasions, including the world's largest democracy (NB. South Korea isn't that much of a democracy by western standards). I don't think a united Korea is much of a threat to China at this point. I don't really think anyone in the region is much of threat to them really.
