I find the fact the hibs did this amusing, especially considering theres been no Alb AC/Dawn raids/Extended raids etc for about a month now. What will greatly amuse me is the whine when we take it back at 6am (provided i'm online). And yes, regardless of the "you ac'ed it first" arguments as i've told my godson in the past "it might be satisfying to punch someone because they pushed you first, doesn't make it right".

And yes as Kaun said - a number of bainshees have been banned recently. Personally i'm greatly chuffed that two fairly well-known bainshees that i screenshotted with times, dates and multiple logs and rightnowed got banned - haven't seen them online since i sent the reports after the last Hib MRE. One can only hope its permenant.

I don't feel ashamed of what we did the Relic was took in same fashion as it was taken.Most people whining on here are the 1's who started all this in first place in taking relics at crap hours now they know what it feels like and to be honest YES it Sucks.

1) Not getting holy about it, stating my opinion. "Morality" doesnt enter into a bloody internet game so not quite sure where you get that from. FYI - where morality doesn't exist per se neither does concepts such as right and wrong. Unless youre deliberately bug abusing there is no right and wrong in this game. So fair enough, perhaps my example above isn't the best but you get the idea.

2) I've been on exactly three alarm-clock/late night raids in 2 years, so don't include me in the "you always raid at 3am lot". Some of us have to be in work by 0730AM or earlier every morning and when your boss sits 10 feet from you falling asleep at your desk is not a good way to get a pay rise.

3) No idea what Whiterazor does in his own time since despite being guildies i only share a handful of hours of playtime with him per week.

However I don't accuse people of bug abusing publically, i let GoA deal with it - which to their credit they have it seems since I still haven't seen the aforementioned two Bainshees.

I told you the class which applies to any one of about 50-60 players in hib if not more. As opposed to what you just did which is publically accuse someone who I personally know and like on an internet forum without proof. I could understand if it was an Alb relic, but in 1st instance it shouldn't have been in Hurbury since it was ACed.
If they wanna go on and fuck the balance AGAIN pveing guards, keeps and relics they can go on for all that i care, but at least don't come spitting non sense shit around trying to find a cover to AC yet AGAIN.
This doesn't change my idea that Hibs shouldn't have retake it ACing it ofc, but at least now there's balance again.

Doubt that will happen, since certain ppl just have been waiting for something like this, a reason to go on with their retarded behaviour ruining the balance for loads of people with nightraids. Now you see the asshats grasping for exactly that thin thread by saying, Now we will AC it back, as if it was honourably taken in the first place, as if it was theirs to begin with. As if they werent the loosers they actually are.

I dont really support the way it was taken back, it was taken in a shitty way, it was returned in a shitty way, would definetely have preferred to see it returned the proper way but numerous attempts failed and this was bound to happen, since it is hibs relics in the first place and not albs. Balance is restored but this shit around the relic have only proven a couple of things really:

Some albs are stupid mfkin idiots who only care for themselves since they take what aint theirs when nobody can defend.
Some other albs are also idiots for defending that bullshit.
Alb during nighttime can pretty much do whatever they want to, without any way of stopping them since they run guildgroups in the middle of the night, no other realm does this.
Relicdesign overall is really really shitty done, it shouldnt be possible to pve them when nobody is online to defend. They are crucial for balance overall and taking them during primetime is very very hard. [sarcasm]Even for the oh so mighty overpowered hibernia.. [/sarcasm] Relicguards should be way higher lvl, there should be more of them so you would need around 40+ people to take down the guards. I liked how it was in OF, one keep, with massive defenses that if you was sneaky could attack without anyone knowing it before guardspam starts.
The only way to take back a nightraided relic is, to nightraid it back. Its too easy to get to defend, its too easy to defend (with oil and all the loscrap in keeps), we tried a sneaky raid during primetime and we met a quite massive defence who was there before we arrived even though we sneaked in via water etc. Crossrealmbullshit destroys raids totally.
This will happen again, its just a matter of time before some idiots get greedy and fuck things up again for some easymode, while they know that the relics cannot be taken back without a nightraid.

The fundamental problem is DAoC's design with a craptastic NF that actually allow alot of stupid things, nightrelicraids is just one problem with NF but since it affect so many players, its a hell of a discussion each time it happens. Thing is, this system works in the US, reason is simple, people there play all around the clock, there is _always_ people out RvRing in smaller or larger scale in US, they never allow iRvR there either since its a serious relicthreat to have a realm housing in ones own realm. There they have designated roamingzones and agramon that they use for RvR, not iRVR that is a tool for crippled people who lack imagination totally and have lost their will to do anything else but port and run out for some kills or die. Its just sad to see what RvR has become these last 2 years :/ It suits the nubheads perfectly ofc, but for anyone alittle more organised its actually just crap and thats one reason why we see a heavy decline in the active RvRpopulation atm. Its not a strange thing that alot of people migrate to avalon for better action rather than fighting the lame bridgecampingbrigades that makes for 70%+ of clusters lousy RvR.

If people tried harder to sort out proper guilds with proper groups with healers in them, RvR would actually be alot more accessible for alot of people, if people wasnt so damn afraid of dying in RVR, they would go out again and again and learn with time, even after loosing miserably, its just too easy to roll a caster, stick a DIbot to its ass and go out and roam around a bridge where something eventually might show up, alot of people call that RvR, I call it a silly show for casuals that can be fun if one has the maturity of a 12year old CSplayer that think PWNING someone is when he and his 40 casterbuddies kill a solohunter, on their own! WoofuckingHoo.

Anyways, keep on whinging ppl, maybe things will improve and RvR on cluster will get better from it.

first of all ... i do not support a relic take at odd hours , just needed to say that
but , and there is a few buts ....

i was on mid that day , defending from albs MRE... and at the time hib started on hurb there was still 5fg albs in odins and jamtland.. CM and more was there as well, and i think they had a blast defending Hlid..

why they chose to do that , instead defending a relic , no idea , maybe they was to buzzy watching mid front. and didnt xpt anyone to hit hurb .. or simply that they didnt care cause its could be taken again , same way it was taken first time...

and yes its 24/7 and u pay ur own subs ...blablabla

and the second thing... this was a hib retake of somthing that belongs to em..and anyone taking somthing and wanna keep it ... better be ready to defend it at all times..

and hat off to some albs taking the relic back primetime failed 2-3 times...cause albs simply chose to ignore they own keeps and own relic , beeing sure that some albs would just take it back ( with all rights) ..
and consentrated all deffence in Hurb..

Well aslong as narrow minded ppl like you only think that YOUR playstyle is fun.. its no use to actually discuss something. There are ppl who play this game just.. to fucking play the game, they gather friends, they set a grp up and they go out, and kill ppl (what else? pm everyone to see what imaginary rules there are?).
Irvr is fun for that, you port, you kill.. easy, fun, good timespending.

Sure it might be fun to make a set grp then etc, but perhaps they are having fun without it.
