just had an idea.

next time your in school go into the chem prep lab and steal some magneium ribbon and some salt petre (potassium nitrate)

then spend hours slicing the ribbon up into the smalles pieces you can possibly manage and mix it with the salt petre (if it was a solution you can just leave it in the sun in a bowl to evaporate+crystalise) then put a tiny blob of craft glue (the polycement stuff that u put airfix kits otgether with) onto it and make a little ball of the stuff bout the size of the end of your thumb, next time your near a fire throw one on and get to a respectalbe distance and watch the fun!

There, perfectly good clean safe and fun idea that will take a FUCK LOAD of your time and perfect if you live out in the sticks.
