Well unless it runs Ubuntu without issue you've tested the other components haven't you?

I wouldn't say I've stress tested it in Ubuntu. But I've checked the likes of memory etc.

It's just reset during my fresh Windows install anyway, gotta start again now, fuuuuu

If it runs Ubuntu for an extended period without issue it's likely driver problems. If not then hardware imho.

Well I've done a fresh Windows install, figured that would rule out any potential driver issues. Guess I'll try running Ubuntu for a day or two and see if anything changes.
you have any USB things attached?
When this happened I really can't remember. It is however still crashing with and without usb's/external hdd's connected.

Definitely a hardware issue then if it's done it in two OS. Does your machine have on board graphics? Might be worth pulling your gpu out for a day or two if it does.

I'm sure I wasn't running Linux at the time, but can't be sure, haha.

you could try re-seating your CPU and cooler. Might help. Maybe.
