[Movie] Solo Friar movie

Finished my movie earlier today and thanks to Greaper for hosting it at Camelotarchive.

It uses a torrent so you need to have access to a torrent program like u torrent or Azureus.

This is my first movie ever, so the editing might not be as fancy as Septina's etc. but I like to think it's quite decent.

It was finished in a hurry and the fights might not be as good as you expect, but it's not been easy finding good solo fights lately basically due to the adding and zerging of the fg's which roams around.

Thanks to everyone featured in the movie and a special thanks to Septina for helping me understand Vegas to a limit

As far as the movie goes, not bad I guess, but less fights vs rr3's and disturbed is pretty cliche...

Was very nice quality, it nice to watch vids in DR client with new character models and still be able to read the text.
Fights were nice, but a few too many hib stealthers, I would like to see more fights against hybrids/tanks

I thought the warden fight was very interesting, alot of classes you had it easier against thanks to the friar heal proc, at one point I thought, jesus that heal proc is OP'ed, but the warden and the vamp fights showed that sometimes even the heal procs wont let you outlast an enemy that has similar abilities like hots and heals.

How do you fare against Valks?

Sorry about the lack of hosting but between tuzics and censi's vids my 250gig bandwidth just got eaten up this month.
But I'll get it uploaded to excalmovies asap so you can have the link in your sig.

Hopefully you'll make more vids as I would like to see more, friar movies are few and far between, and I really enjoyed that one.

nice quality and interesting to see friar pov, but that said, quality of the actual fights was about as crap as it gets. artificial duelling at crau/beno and fights that weren't really even or against good opponents, bb resists4tw

True, Like I said, I've had alot of trouble getting good fights lately, it started off with some fairly good ones but it kind of went down hill.

Reason I finished the movie in a hurry was because I wasn't that much into running around getting overrun by fg's anymore

As far as the the fight versus tanks go.. I was thinking of putting some of them out, but to be honest, I Can't even hit shield tanks

Valks has their HoT up and they end their fight at 100% with me getting 3 hits in.

Warriors and Heroes just blocks everything coming their way.

Dont' really know if it would be any interesting to watch.

I need to say something which I basically forgot in the opening post, there's two wrongs in the editing with the characters realm rank, this was due to me trying to hard to get it done before I left the place I were at.

I started making a solo Friar video but even good fights against high RR players was usually just drain endo / power then kill slowly so figured people wouldnt be that interested.....a few 2v1's were good i guess but meh maybe i'll release it sometime.

However how interesting would a FG friar video be! Everyone loves a BG / Grapplers PoV so thats what im working on!

I liked the intro, was nice and basic but still catching.

The sudden change from your intro theme to the first song was maybe a bit bad disposed imo, in general I think I would have gone for a more revelating music theme for a friar movie but each our likings.

The fights were a bit mixed, some were good but I do wonder a bit why you put in the fights against very low ranked people, maybe as you said shortage of fights but I've been out over the past 2 weeks with a lot of high ranked solo'ers bashing me...

With that said you did also catch some good fights in there aswell (censi, baby, goaone ect.)

You got a few ranks wrong but I think you mentioned that earlier...

Had a bit of fun watching you floor ronso as the startoff for the solo day

PS. No idea what's with the sudden dislike of me but regardless I tried to keep the shears on the low end for as long as possible but I was amazed how low you got me in the beginning so I took the shears into play.

dunno, all 6 resistbuffs, thrust resistant armor - hitting with crush on crush weak armor on a class with little defence. sure the fight was ok, but in almost every way you had advantage

Well I thought the movie was good Friars are OP! hehe
The quality was great, what sort of computer + graphics card + memory does it take to make it look and record that good? My computer turns into a Powerpoint presentation should I even dare to make "nice shadows".

The music wasn't my taste, but that doesn't matter. The fights seemed fine. And you seemed to have the hang of editing :>

I'm using the new Conroe CPU..

Intel core 2 Duo E6400 2.13GHz
XFX GeForce 7950GX2 1gb.
2GB RAM etc.

When I use fullsize recording i have 25-30 fps, its awfull..but if I switch to Halfsize i can get 50-60 fps.

Reason I became hostile against you during that evening and after is because I hate buffshears, in my opinion it's the one thing mythic should never have implemented in the game as it fucks up for soloers when fg's "feel like" buffshearing them as they stroll past them.. just to be assholes.

If I did indeed win a fight versus you, I would have to suicide due to my weird spec (yellow specs which doesn't cap).

You won't see me running around buffshearing anyone. Only style I'd use is the ml9 one as it dex/quick debuffs the target, which makes it possible for me to hit a shield tank.
