Actually, Hoster only dinged 50 after Usp did, and Usp dinged 50 after Teador the wizzie :)

And the fact the muppet actually put points into piety or something said alot more for his skill :)

Remember, skill does not always mean deathspam

Deathspam can sometimes mean being in the right place at the right time though -> nerf gfx lag

TBH alot of skill went away with the comming of RA's.
Cant really comment too much on the very early RvR as i was still about 40-ish and not really active.

But for the current RvR i will have to say one of the most skilled players is Malovolencia or Bfr, maby both overpowerd :D but still damn good players.

People like you and Dook can get fucked for all i care for daring to throw mud at me with 0 evidence.
And who is Dook to accuse me of cheating and being a lamer when he himself traded his old account?(Isnt trading accounts forbidden by the CoC?)

This game requires NO skill even my granny could play it...
The only REAL skill you need is getting 150 people together to collect a uberdrop for you, thats why my infil got so boring, its always the same story, dual shadows, switch weapons, dragonfang, etc etc and let the random numbers decide it.

oh but I forgot you also need some basic math skills required to calculate the best SC combo etc...

oh no prolly just started another flamewar tm

Imo, the game does require some skill to be good.

Although any random rich dude can run along and buy and account then play.

At least in groups, if you can keep your group alive, and do your job as you should, thats skill imho.

Wether it be, guard the casters, mez the people, heal the group, attack enemy casters, position yourself somewhere where you can do your job better. Anything that means you win.

(This is in rvr sence btw)

Anyway, no flames as its just what I think :)
If you feal differently, state so ;)

You are soo right.. take no skill whatsoever to play a DF inf. Tho there is alot of other chars in the game that do take skill to play.

English is not my main language but I still think skill is the right word. In my dictionary skill means: the ability to do something well, usually gained through experience and training.
I was not asking about the most feared enemy or who kill more people. To me the most skilled enemy I seen was a shadowblade call Death. But if for you is <insert name here> Druid (for example) because his/her ability to keep his/her group alive, that is perfect valid.

At the current state of the game, assassins not getting any respect at all (woot haxoring ppl with buffbot l33t), the most feared enemies are the good support classes in my eyes now, the ppl keeping their friends alive in a form of their own(healers mezzers etc).

You mean Lessa I think :)

I even prepared myself everytime I went solo from mpk towards apk with my RM (in the early days). Never had a chance though

Used to mezz me and sit down to rest, or even go after another target, and then coming back to finish me off just when the mezz broke.

And as for those comments about Hoster and Death....they sure knew how to play their class. What it takes to be good in this game is a different kind of skill imo. Quick reactions, knowing which targets to pick (as a stealther), teamwork etc will lead to better results, but I don't really consider this skills. This game isn't about skill, for only one reason. No matter how "skilled" you are, there's always the random factor in the end. You have absolutely no control of game mechanics during fights. Will you land the hit or miss? Will your spell be resisted? Will you evade the next hit? Or parry? No matter what you do, the outcome remains unchanged. With the assumption you're specced properly and wear decent equipment etc.

I didnt make a cleric to heal primary.

Developers of the game gave us that option in the start. Why remove it later and force all those chars to be buffbots?
Or maybe that was there intension...

They still have stunning btw

Well skill is needed in this game for sure... but luck can do a lot also :p
I still remeber, long time ago when i played with my old scout Yimahura, a very pleasent expirience.
Death was on sauvage road and just killed a plate wearing dude :)
First reaction.. IT´S DEATH !!! Panic attack :D
He was 50... me 49...
I pulled my huntingbow and hit him for about 200dmg...
He still had more then 1/2 hp !
He came to me and attacked ( Duh ! )... lucky as i was i blocked the first one ( 22 shield :p ) and i used beartooth skill (stuns enemy about 1 sec i think ) and it worked 3 times +3 times proc for about 150-160 dmg, he hit me a few times and so did i ( hitting him ey )... @ the end one had to die, and is was not me.
I was soooo happy... i meeleed death to death. It was the most funny melee fight i ever had...and probably the most lucky day of my Daoc play time :)
Death... i own you some realmpoints for that :)

I don't accuse you of anything and don't want to throw mud at you either... I've only heard various people saying that Pbuck isn't the real one anymore and that they were not happy with that...

And I think Dook just got owned... that's why he flames you...

And why would I flame you?

Same goes for my cleric, clicking names in the mini and pressing the heal icon.

Scout is even worse, you don't even have to queu your attacks, just keep tapping the bow icon

Remember that picking the right class is also part of the 'skill' you need

Hoster was just overpowered and high lvl, not skilled

All sb's were, btw, enchanters require no skill and you've spent plenty of time as one, personally tho, I think I would like you chose a class other than a caster, make a armsman or a paladin, they require insanity to play so I think you'd own quite frankly :p.
