Well they aren't like most people say, but they sure are a little overpowered. Mythic sais not, but most bd's admit that there is something wrong with their class

Bd's are mostly good against newbies though, the poor sods dont have a clue on what to hit first, the bd or one of the pets...

Yep. At twice the power cost, and only every 4 seconds. Enchanters can do far, far more damage by just heat debuffing and baseline nuking.

I wouldn't say 5 second cast time is quick, mate. And those pets are mezzed 60% of your RvR time anyway

Also, bear in mind that we had some amazing healers with us in that movie, so I'm being spread healed consistently and insta-healed twice in it.

Well, try running away from enchanters with snare+dd'ing pets. Try running away from tanks with PF. Etc.

It's just you. And the rest of the whiners who can't seem to realize that because they can't insta-gib any class in the game, they are either gimped or their enemies are insanely overpowered.

And as you can see in my sig, Mythic thinks the BD is working as intended. Pay good attention to the movie and how the BD function in GROUP RvR. I'm out of power very quickly, I die, like any other caster, when the majority of an enemy group picks me as a target (you don't see me getting killed much in the movie, but trust me, I get farmed consistently, heh). My lifedrain drains for 300+ damage on a good day, my baseline darkness DD damage is very low and high variated because darkness is a secondary spec. My group utility is limited to 1) being able to interrupt while having a damage output and 2) an melee absorb shield, which basically just puts our chain users at par with albion plate, so not really much of a difference. If that's overpowered, well, then you're basically just whining because you got rolled by a BD in Thidranki (where they are overpowered). In end game group RvR, they perform on equal terms as any other decent class.

Your "explanation" doesn't justify jack shit, boi. You're still just spamming 2 buttons, and from time to time, the third button (purge). Omg teh skill! ^_^

Anyway, next time you make a movie, use a better codec, and make sure the soundfiles don' take more space than the video itself

The char you used I have no respect for, but good work on the movie, always fun to see yourself getting wtfpwnd.

My explanation justifies everything. You know fuck all about how I play, and if you pay just a little attention beyond your own friggin' prejudice, you'd see that I use at least 5 buttons during a combat. Not that it matters, I've already said that if you think skill = amount of buttons used, you're no fucking Einstein, that's for sure. Your brain must be horribly easy to stimulate if it really is the case.

And for your information, the audio layer in this movie is about 38mb. It's 5, I think, mp3's in a too high quality, but hardly taking more space than the movie itself. Don't lecture me about shit I already know

I don't want your respect, but I'll make all the movies for you that you want, as long as I get to kill you while you're on a rp timer

In that situation you're probably laughing at the child being silly while playing or by them performing very badly. Neither are apparent in this video.

I don't understand why anyone would laugh hard because someone cba to zoom out every time they want to return to the normal camera view.
I don't see why you should constantly pan the camera round in a fight when you already know where the enemies are and are busy facing and nuking them.

All in all it's pretty silly that anyone would 'laugh hard' at someone who plays a computer game in a different, tho none less effective way.

Just my 2 cents.

Well I'll try my best as I do like to understand the way certain individuals minds work.

Maybe later this week I'll try an experiment, I'll gather a bunch of friends round and boot up DAoC. Then I'll start by zooming right out and rotating the camera lots, if no reaction then I'll zoom in and stop panning the camera. I'll see how many of them burst into laughter and how many just couldn't really give a shit
