But say...there is really 2 fins spots. The lesser one you dont get the same BAF and you have to pull from two spots, but I have done both (one spot each on the two times I did fins, lol! god, I hate em ...), and the second spot was not that much slower at all once ya got a group on the ball.
If any ever find themselves in a similar situation (either end), please look about...mayhap you can find the spot I am speaking of.

Well good luck finding grps or help outside your small grp of severely stupid friends, the logs say it all.
99% of the realm works by the list and even though not everyone agrees it's fair it is the best solution to things like this.
Imagine if every band of halfwits did what you did, you wouldn't even have a good days xp yourself!
I've seen 54 people in CF, maybe 16 of those were epic mobs/epic armour grps, the rest were all happily exping in different spots, not causing aggro cos it's much easier to be cool and win friends than be a selfish and arrogant turd who then has the balls to wonder why everyone's pissed at him.

No 3 acctually. The "always camped one", the one were you switch day and night spawn and the "log spot". The first two are just as good as the other. The last one isn't very good but still ok.

The log spot is also better then shared main spot
So i do not really see any other good reason why they tried to take that spot then.
1: They simply dont know any other spots (level slower level 50 newbs!)
2: They actually though it fair that you should leave so they can get the one "best" xp spot in hibernia for them self.

OMG what is happening to this realm ??
I have been playing DAoC now for a 11 months or so and i had annoying times being on the fins list for 4 days in a row etc etc and not getting PMed so instead i did rvr took a week or two off exping...
Then try again if still no joy i get up early and start the list ...problem solved
Seems we are getting some members who just want to get to lvl 50 asap ...mayb you could ask Mythic if they can give you a lvl 50 Char of the Class you want that hasnt been Specced yet ...Problem Solved
Iv Enjoyed lvling Josua and Sangfugol to lvl 50 and enjoyed helping other ppl to lvl with these chars
Iv enjoyed finding out the limits of there abilitys in PvE and am trying to find out there limits in PvP (not so much Josua atm)

Well, i dont know why i picked this quote, i really should have picked em all that quietus mades. All the same bullshit over and over, but too much work for me :uhoh:
I do know one thing though, the fins list have been there for ages. Some ppl dont like it, others love it cuz it gives them good steady exp (me one of em). My point is, that the group had NO F*CKING right to come and exp on the fins and steal the spot. I wasnt there, but if it had happende to me, i would have been very pissed, even if both groupes sorted it out and started to share exp.

Biased story from only one point of view, to us it was more like: We came there, saw absolutely no one and started pulling and after over 10 mins someone comes over and tells us to fuck off because its their spawn, so ok we start arguing and in the very beginning I say we can share the spawn but get told again to piss off (there's the realm spirit ) some whine, some moan and after a while we agree we share the spawn (however at this point Sixofour?, Spankya and half of AED has made a fool of themselves by pulling mobs into our pbaoe, stealing our adds, confusing our pulls etc.) We pull there for a while together after things have calmed down and then agree we'll move and say sorry for the hassle, Censi being the impatient retard already managed to start a flamewar meanwhile though, guess he kinda enjoys it? I hardly care what happens from now on, you can keep on flaming Quie if you want but I wont bother replying again

The screenshots obviously tells why censi camped, and i have a screenshot myself of how realm friendly your group mate Quietus was at least I include some quotes:

Ok, i had the unfortunate pleasure of being list-holder during all this crap.
Firstly, many thx to Armiger for turning up to help out.

The problem wasnt the fact that they started pulling the fins, but the extremely abusive comments they threw our way when we asked what they were doing. We first off thought that they were doing epics, and so sat patiently and watched, then realised that they were xping.
The list at that time was huge, the whole point of the list is so that peeps can xp and play alts while waiting for a place in a high lvl group if they are unable to find one otherwise.
40 or so people were on that list, the second group was told this, and the response was , well, the kind of conversation i expect from a spoilt 7 yr old (just read quietus's post on this thread for an idea of what im talkin about).
"What gives us the right to claim this spawn?" was one of them, well, the answer is the players of the Realm of Hibernia give us that right. Its one of 3 or so spots where we push our high lvls to 50, it has been this way for ages.
Most of us remember the Brefine incident with fins, and the bad blood that generated.
This incident almost destroyed the group, and decimated the list as people didnt want to come to the group with another group pulling from same spot. As it happens we rebuilt the group, and the list, and played through until almost 6am.

Well one of the guys in the grp who was friendly and could string a sentence togther, said that 4 of the 8 were players from Ablion Excalibur....... 2 of them were French.....
It was kinda at that point when I gave up....
I hope they all make 50 soon..... will be interesting to see what guild they all end up in, or rather who will take them.....

so what does give the person who is "holding the list of 40 people" and so on the right to monopoly of a spot? i mean im sure i'd be pissed if i tried to get some xp and someone said come back in 2 months time, this spot is camped forever etcetc.
can't say i agree with the way they dealt with it though.

I could understand it as a monopoly if it was just 1 grp camping a spot and refusing to move 24/7.
The fact is that it's not the grp that sits there, it's A grp, within a 24 hour period it's more than likely less than half of the players will be he same as before, not without rejoining the list and waiting their turn again, sometimes the list is abused and it sucks big time.
But on the whole the list holder(s) have an unenviable task of trying to keep everyone happy and keep replacements rolling in, thus instead of 8 people xping at one spot you have maybe 40 in a swift day.
There are a lack of relatively acccesible spots that can be camped by 1fg, sure there are lots of areas where the xp is better but getting into those places tends to mean more than 1 grp and a lot of time getting there. fins are convienient and I wouldn't think that people who lvld to 50 and not at fins were a majority.
The grp was there first, they were waiting for a replacement but it's not quite a fast enough spawn for 2 chainpulling grps, you end up with less than 3 mobs unless you take a longer break (done that with 1fg pulling VERY fast), might as well move to another uncamped spot with a full camp bonus.
When things have been truly busy there have even been lists for a 2nd fins spot, with people on the list for the first one lol.
It's not perfect but if it were a major issue and not a well established and known fact then I think more stupidity of this kind would occur.

As a mid its hard to understand why you dont exp in your epic zone / lair. Spawning is better and exp should be too. Althou i know that its hard to get in there even with fg but how hard is to try make 2fgs and then stay there one day?

You wouldn't believe how much fun I am having, seeing impatient morons post about things they know nothing about. You also cannot IMAGINE how much fun I have reading the replies such as "4/8 of them are alb excal here due to infil nerf", haha. The only player who already had a character on excalibur is Eleas.

My point of things
I'll start this off with 2 screenshots wich I took after a while of moaning.
Soo.. from the beginning. We were happily hunting in EZ getting most of us to 45. We get wiped by geists, Knights etc. /release and we meet up in Ligen. We move to Crim fins spawn in Breifine, and pull there for an hour or 2 and xp is nice. We get zerged by 2 groups of mids. /release and back in Ligen. At this point I did a /who cursed and only 9 non-anon people appeared so we thought let's try to go there. Meet up in caille and then moving into CF. When we came to the spawn this is what WE saw:

So THE fins group with list and all sat there uphill behind a tree waiting for someone to fill the group. We saw noone around and noone was pulling so we kept pulling there.
And reason for us not beeing on the list? Well, we have played with exact same group since blackthorns/parths , almost every single day. so we have a well balanced fully worked group, with that i wont sign up on a list with 50 people on it just to wait for someone to leave so I can get a bub or 2 .
I dont see this in anyway as Spawnstealing, as the screenshots show we didnt see you from our spot. So when Cansi came up asking if we were doing epics, and we said we are xping.. why did we whine? well maybe his group was elsewhere and didnt have this spawn at all? Instead of sorting this people log etc and take this to a public forum without even trying to sort this. After censis group logged we agreed with another group to share. Thanks to Rovena for that. Noone pointing our that a fg of Armiger et Dementis (mostly 50) came here aswell, started stealing our adds. Pulled some queens into our pbae, Amnesia our mobs getting our chanters killed few times. All this without even trying to sort out this situation or even listen to what we have to say.

Is there actually a list made that people have to join before they can XP in this spot? There isnt room for 2 groups? (Im not flaming, these are genuine questions) In Albion there are spots like the pygmy gobbos where you will find 2-4 full groups pulling quite happily - is there nowhere like this in hib?
