Although I like the idea, I know that in practice, that way to lotto stuff usually ends up in a mess because person No. 7 doesn´t know what´s been taken / what´s left from the pool. (Hint for Mythic: introduce a lotto window, something like a CM window where the raidleader can put stuff in and grant access to people to remove one item).
I might not be crucial on a ML1 raid, but on a large raid with many drops, the traditional way of lottoing each item saves time in the end.

I demand you hire yourself as a Mythic employee and get that implemented as soon as possible, great idea.

On this point however, I strongly disagree, mainly due to the fact that everyone has to roll countless of times and many raidleaders don't first show what items there are and just start at the top. That way you never know if there is a better item out there for you, making you have to choose between rolling for something that looks nice but nothing special, or waiting for that big item and then do a crappy roll, winning nothing. In all honesty, I strongly prefer highest picks first, then the next. If people aren't paying enough attention to what items have been taken and ask for you to show again, move on to the next person and if they're lucky and there's stuff left after everyone had a go, they can choose. But only if they're lucky. Don't keep the entire raid waiting just because someone was afk or whatever.
