Anyone still playing this?

It is coming along at quite a pace now and has had some interesting features added to it. I think it will be a cracking little game when it is finished. It sold its millionth copy recently - not bad for a game still in beta.

Had a new server up and running for a few days.
We are abstaining from giving ourselves +op powers, as that inevitably ends up with diamond houses and tons of dynamite scattered everywhere.

All of our buildings are a bit rustic looking :)

I've had a private server up and running on a NAS since early alpha for myself and the Mrs and have managed to retain the data, so we have some pretty impressive and weird things on there after six months.

Just bought this, for some reason I appear to be unable to settle and keep digging great whacking caves at night and wandering during the daytime. Bugger.

Hah, just built my first castle, blimey it actually feels good not to be hiding in the darkness of a cave and be able to look about at the monsters and the sky for a change.

Love the way it gets the creative juices flowing. Stopped playing for a few months then went back yesterday. Started off thinking I will build a mountain retreat then I thought how about a wooden walkway around the mountain around the house, then maybe thinking about an extension on the house that overlooks a lake I made. Then you realise 5 hours have gone by.

Heh, yea.

Built the castle, was mining for more stone and thought, "This would make an awesome batcave, ended up creating a large space in the side of the mountain and began to miss me castle. Then proceeded to create a large tunnel connecting the castle and batcave across the map.

Work is ongoing. Just hope I don't die because I haven't a chance in hell of finding the area again.

fucked up big time the other day an ended up deleting the world, stupidly messing around and fell into lava with loads of diamond and materials on me :( Serves me right for not bringing a bucket of water with me.

Well, day one. Built a mudhole to hide in as night crept on me, but an evil red eyed spidey thing jumped in over my huge 2 block wall and ate me. Now i can't find my hole :(

i can never be arsed with monsters so always end up turning them off. Annoying spending aload of time building something only for the exploding dildos to destroy it all.

That's why i built a mote around my pile of dirt(haven't upgraded yet, cellar looks nice though :p). The explosive penises don't get to my base.

Also it's a nice trap for wild animals :D

Good buy, i was a bit iffy about it, but it's a good buy.

Have to do some screenshotty documentation of how things progress. First night i died(as per usual), but second night i held up in a hole. Just a hole, nothing more. This hole then evolved into a mudbox and when it's day, i farm food/skin/wool/wood/etc, when it's night i work on my evil lair :D

I've actually started to build my house from bottom up, so there's a mudbox up top, then a cellar(with workbench, large chest, swimming pool for good emasure) and it continues down to my mining operation.

Will probably post some shots tomorrow, or if i can get fraps or some such, do a tour.

Future wise, i hope that physics come to play at some point. It would be "fun" to see a hosue topple down after an explosive penis attacks it. Also water works a bit funny at times, a earth like "single waterlevel if nto a lake) would be nice. It disappears underground for some reason at times.

Ooh, show please :D

I actually cancelled my DC universe to justify spending for minecraft and it seems like a right choice. Will kill my SC2 rust-sahkeoff.

The one thing that minecraft still urgently needs is a coordinate system, tired of having to run third party map viewers to look for things I have built.

I find it fun, being completely lost and trying to desperately find your home when night falls.

Guess it's a taste thing.
