Alarm clock raids are considerd by many lame....
personaly i don't care but that makes me one, of not of the many.
But those that consider it lame must do so in any situation, with no excuses, so if you do something that is considerd lame, just because others do it, you will still be considered lame yourself.

Hardly an alarmclock raid, we started at saturday evening after albs left the Mid frontier, we just headed Albion for revenge.
Was great fun though ^^

Someone said it before, this was not a planned raid at all.
Ppl just asked if we should go for alb keeps after we reclaimed the last keep in midgard.
So we did, with 40 ppl it takes a while to get all alb keeps so that's the reason why we finally hit excalibur at 5am in the morning.

It all started with Albs massing large numbers in our frontiers, popping Bledmeer, Nottmoor, Hlidskiaf, Blendrake, and god knows what else.
Defence force was organised (well sort of), and mids started going in jamtland, trying to stop the Alb zerg. We got wiped 3 times, but we kept coming back each time, and in the end we prevailed.
After we took the last keep back, (Blendrake), we decided to treat Albs with their own medicine, so all the leftover mids ported to Albion. There was no planning whatsoever, just an angry mob, set out to pillage, burn, rape, and watch cartoons.
You want to call this an Alarm Clock Raid ? Whatever. We mids know it wasn't. It was a fun night, and I was kind of hoping we can keep the alarm clock line away, as this was not the case.
And no, FoM didnt plan anything. I took charge of the defending forces at some point, and after our realm was safe, it evolved in a sweet revenge. We didn't expect to pop Excal, was more of a "Let's see how far we can get".
Thanks for a fun evening.

Fuck, I didn't know the game was closed and you were prohibited from certain game options past primetime such as relic raiding. Damn it, why hasn't someone told me the game closes down during the night and early morning!?
But seriously ... Doing a relic raid in prime time is, by far in most situations, a complete waste of time. First of all there's plenty of stealthers around to spot a very large zerg leaving here and there, so a relic raid is difficult to move unseen. And if 190 hibs are seen leaving hpk in Hadrian's that's plenty of time for 100 wizards with VP loaded to move to Excalibur. Second of all, with the 3 rams per door rule it's pretty much impossible to get inside a relic before the owners of the relic have mustered a big enough zerg to kill them off.
You need an insane amount of people to pull off a relic raid in prime time, and it needs to be highly organized. I think the odds of a success in prime time are so low that at least I wouldn't even be bothered organizing a relic raid at those hours.

ok i understand the taking keeps bit... but trashing excal doors was a step too far imo, not just an angry, the albs in ur frontier was just the SS allaince keep raid.

McDonalds, how was I supposed to know the Albs in my frontier were just "keep taking". All in all, it looked as a serious and well planned RR to us. That's why we smacked Excal. We had only 2 keeps left at some point... If that's something that doesn't worry you...
Sure, go ahead and use our raid as an excuse for early morning raids, I'm sure that's very convenient for you guys.

I thought I had a great time tonight. That was until I entered these forums and read how very very sad we have made the albs. I'm truly sorry. Should we agree that the next relic raid should be between 8 and 9 pm tomorrow? Would that be ok?
Let us ban all relic raids! Return them all to their original owner so everyone can live happily ever after. After all, we don't want anyone to get hurt now, do we?

I'm sure no-one asked me when i can or cant do something in this GAME I pay for each month.
The main aim was to ravage your countryside Viking fashion as revenge, that we did, had a pop at excal for the hell of it, left a pair of doors hanging off the hinges and a trail of busted keeps along the way...was a damn good laugh.
Some of you people should seriously pull your heads outta your asses and see what this is...A GAME.....I for one couldnt give a toss if you took all 6 relics at anytime of the day. I'll defend/attack if i'm on.../shrug if not.

mids fucked the "agreement" that was in place for not doing non prime time raids. its as simple as that
doesnt matter if u where just an angry mob taking revenge for something we did in your frontier during primetime, you knocked on the excal doors at 4am with 40-60 ppl that sounds very much like a rr to me
