I'd disagree slightly, several months ago midgard may of been the most organised and focused realm, and they may of lost that edge to a degree. That does not mean they are now the 'worste', simply more like hib and alb lately in lacking leaders, focus and organised BG's.

Class balance helps, but the realm thats got the most organised battlegroups and focused leaders will always be stongest in the big picture. Albion has not had that since the first couple of months of NF release, I don't think hibernia has ever had that, and midgard has gotten a little lazy itself lately.

Notts tower has had spam of 30+ mids at times, and there been more mids down at their tower + bridge + in the 8vs8 region. So isnt lack of numbers, it is purely lack of organisation and will to take a keep

albion dont need leaders because they have the mass zerg..... and they always stick together and there classes work well in zerg warfare.... no matter what the skill of the opposing players all the ml9 moc3 sorcs with there stupid range is going to rape stuff by simply monging out on the keyboard

in the past mid made up for lack of numbers against albion by having opted groups and decent players, and so did hib... but now with rvr so caster orientated and all the retards having access to stupidly OP pet classes like caba sorc and thurgs.... all hitting ml9 when they see a solo shaman in clip range, it doesnt matter the skill of the players anymore

you can say JAJAJA warlock or whatever you want, but the hundreds of sorcs and cabbys with ml9 pets and moc lifetap have always been as retarded as a pre nerf warlock......

and to come up against that kind of shit in a keep take when your outnumbered...... just makes you feel why bother

i expect albs and hibs to have keeps in mid frontier for a long time to come.... maybe even more keeps than atm..... and bye bye to the relics.... but if you do that..... you make the game worse for yourself, because you will end up fighting yourself

Seen from my point of view:
The game is dieing because it's so damn hard for new players to get started. New players simply lose the interest before they even gets started.

1st of all people needs to get started with leveling from 1 to 50. That will takes plenty of time, and we all knows it. Those that has played at the very beginning (like I), knows how long it took to get to 50, when you got no clue about the game. Wait, it doesn't stop here! While there was groups back then, there's no groups now to play up your character... so it'll be soloing or paying for 2 accounts, where the 2nd of them is a PL account.
The very few that does nowsaday play groups, has /level 20. The /level 20 command should be available to any new accounts in my opinion.

2nd. A good amount of the guilds out there only wants to let you in, once you are at least level 50. Some others also require that you have yourself fully ToA'ed with ML's and template for your character. There's also the sort of guild that only wants you in if they've known you for a longer period of time, and where you are RR5.

Honestly, if you were to play a new game, would you then be interested in playing a game where you were told, you need to be: max level and have all your items ready before people even would think of taking you into a group?
And to join a guild probably also has longer experience?

I think RvR class wise is the most balanced it has been in ages. Warlocks got the nerf they deserved, i mean any class that can insta kill me on there own while i have two of the best clerics of the realm grouped with me needs nerfing. It's funny how all the warlocks are crying now...very satisfying. Midgard maybe suffering a bit but like it or not i think that is largely due to the lack of maelstrom running recently and midgard will adapt and no doubt come back strong again.

Please don't give up though pip as nothing entertains me more than zerging your ass...

About instances, heh depends on char ofc, but it's close to beeing pl'd anyway. Lets also not forget the free lvl here (especially on a realm that has a pop. bonus (yes the pop. bonus is also to get more players into that realm)).

Bg's well still a lot of fun, even if not templated. It's not all about beeing l33t in a bg tbfh. People should learn to make groups again, in bg's as in lvl 50 rvr.
