OPed casters with a billion ways to oblitirate melee chars in seconds is quiet obviously not promoting solo/small scale rvr Oo...

Sure I been away for awhile, but judging from previous post not that much have changed and to be frank if it has changed it has become even worse then when I took a break from live.

And for his argument that mids will-power is struck back, I mean wtf? It's world cup, summer, nice weather just stating that a whole realms will-power is struck is hilerious.

The fact of the matter is, if we relate to the title and the first post, Pip speaks from a legitimate (sp?) angle and the fact you give off some low-quality flames in retailation to this, shows that you don't actually have any idea of the situation but you thought you'd post because you see an easy target in flaming someone.

Man obviously that statement is as valid as saying alb is the only realm that zergs.

And for ur comment on me wandering off topic, feels like it kinda wandered away from topic right away. People dragged in PvE aspects, solo rvr, casters and to be honest it all relates to eachother.
And if mid where to be weakened by ( rofl ) warlock nerf then that reflects on ppls view on how RvR is to be made; with overpowered casters and fotm rerolls, obvisously taking advantage of poor class designs (warlocks, cabas, sorc, u name the rest ).

No, that wasn't what I meant I said that Pips statement wich you obviously are defending is as rediculous as claiming albs to be the only one zerging in this game.

And I can agree that I havn't played for abit but teh RvR sit is the same, if not even more fucked up then when I left.

And a few years of daoc on live servers isnt just whiped out b/c I play on a freeshard with 10x better rulesets then the live servers have, enjoying old emain, odins, HW with toa bonus items gotten from RvR tasks.

Notts tower has had spam of 30+ mids at times, and there been more mids down at their tower + bridge + in the 8vs8 region. So isnt lack of numbers, it is purely lack of organisation and will to take a keep

ofc and the fact that the mids trying to retake nott was figthing the gankgroups from both alb and hib while takin on the usual alb zerg at same time had no influence on the outcome ehh ?

partially true, well, maybe mostly.
thou in our guild is few peeps who have only 1 account, yet make new lvl 50 qite fast when want.
toa is nowdays quite easy and fast, thx to ml marathons, DR give little headach whit buildup groups what needed in some steps, otherwise its quite easy, or is it just my view? never know.

game is large now, feeled large allready when started, horse trip from gna faste to fort veldon? took ~15 min.

advertisng was crap, DF expansion i notice 0 advertising in own countrys playing magazines, or someone testing and telling how it look.

Pip 4 weeks ago we were posting identical threads about Hibernia and here we have people saying we were organised. Midgard feels like Hibernia did only 4 weeks ago thats a fact. Vonwar has stopped posting here for example . That makes me think he is either deeply unhappy or off on holidays...

Ask yourself why this is the case?

I honestly feel that having iRvR in your backyard demoralises that realm spirit. That might sound like roleplaying talk but in fact once you lose respect for your realm I think this game takes a major nose dive. Of course iRvR brings more and more people out and of course it has its positive points but essentially it encourages people to just play like soloers and to stop getting together.

I was a bit surprised when I read this that Midgard was goin through the same stuff we were to be honest. However I can tell you that we were feeling exactly the same way not so long ago. Eventually we all got together and kicked both the Albs and Mids out of our frontier.

iRvR is the problem when it sits like a boil in your frontier all it does is divide the realm and make people lose self respect. It removes the goal of the game and replaces it with something insidious. Those that love it no longer admit that it is about the holy realm point they have now substituted 'action' as a term to explain it. So instead of humping the rp they now hump each other.

Well were to start? On the one hand i can understand what sneakers means as it wasnt too long ago when everyone that wasnt playing a wl was moaning about wl's and casters in general and i am sure a lot of people quit game just b/c of the retartedness of this class. Also seems that with the wl nerf rather then make things better in the game people are beginning to realise that casters in general are killing this game. Nerf the cast speed or reduce the retarted damage on these classes as they are all far to OP and i mean all of em.

Also what pip seems to be forgetting is that with world cup, nice weather, people going away on holiday as it is summer time etc (me going on 2 month holiday soon) as always less and less people play the game until the shit weather end of world cup and end of summer hits.

I dont particularly care he plays a wl or whatever as this has no bearing on what he is saying (even though i have to agree with all the kill wl on sight policy) as he pays for his subs. However, he has to understand that he isnt going to get much enjoyment playing his class just the same way all wl's ruined everyone elses playing experience when they (wl's) were OP'd and you couldnt go anywhere in rvr without running into a shit load of em.
