Well, I enjoyed the first 3 Superman movies. The third one with Richard Prior still makes me laugh.

Both keys at the same time?!
Kneel before Zod!

Watched it, but i'm a bit torn on it really. I did find it great to see 2-3 guys from Smallville get recast though...

General Zod was a bit strange to me, don't know if it was just the actor. He didn't seem to have much... emotion? about him. Although i feel the ending ruined it for me... Superman... killing someone on purpose?

The whole identity thing griped me as well. I thought the main reason Superman kept his identity secret from the world was because it would put the Kents and his friend in potential danger...

But yeah hmmm. It was an okay movie though

Watched it, was an OK movie, not great but OK. Hopefully the sequels are much better.

Thought it was 'meh', not great at all and part of it just seemed like a clusterfuck. Certainly will not be in any rush to watch again.

I agree with the meh comments, plot holes, pointlessly long, a good concept but not executed well. The army guys and Lois just got in the way, they seemed like a bolt on to the story.

Good fun, was rooting for the bad guys in the final act.
World War Z tonight, not expecting much.
This Is The End booked for Friday though, looks riotous.

tbh I'm not watching anything with Rihanna in it unless it's porn.

Good enough, not great, but that's the usual DC/marvel divider in a nutshell for me. Not that big of a fan of DC stuff. But as such, visual orgasms ahoy.

Here's my predction, or nolaniction;

Batman 1 -> Fights a "copy" of himself.
Superman 1 -> Fights a "copy" of himself.

Batman 2 -> Fights a "brainy supervillain trying to break the moral code", aka joker.
Superman 2 -> Read above, replace Joker with El Lexo Luthero.

Batman 3 -> Fights bane, only villain able to defeat him.
Superman 3 -> Enter Doomsday.

Not that there would be anything wrong with that progression :p

Well if they do bring in doomsday I hope its not a quick clusterfuck like it was in the smallville season finale.

Just saw it. Really enjoyed it. Not amazing, but a good waste of a couple of hours with throwaway popcorn fun.

Finally saw it tonight, well last night now. Enjoyed it, thought Henry Cavill was good. Few little things like the tanker truck with Lex Industries on and the Smallville nods

The buildings being destroyed was a bit too much like Avengers and the end where he broke Zod's neck but killed the family (how did he break his neck, he's indestructable is he not?) was a bit well, odd thing for Superman to do

Also are there any other Superman stories where Lois knows who he is, obviously at the end when Perry introduces him to everyone, him and lois do the knowing handshake and nod, i thought the whole thing about him putting the glasses on was to conceal his identity, but she knows he is Clark/Superman
Anyway i liked it, very enjoyable

Quite a few, the TV series is one for example.

It's safe to say that if you think of something, it's been done in comics :D

Like pink kryptonite that turns superman, not sh*tting you, gay.

I really like it.
The death of Zod was perfect. It showed the impossible choice he had really well and i am glad they did not do the goody goody Phantom Zone cop out. Either kill him or wait for him to kill all humans one by one. It was brilliant.
And although it was really long I thought they did a great job of showing his struggles growing up and a lot of them combined to show how shit he was at fighting someone with the same powers.
It was a really good start to the series and all the subtle Lex Corp trucks ect in the background worked really well.
