Alex F (thats the best way to spell it) does not cry when things dont go wrong. He admits mistakes and goes forward: unlike arsene Wenger who says:

heh.....few seasons ago southampton vs man utd, alex f had his teams kit changed at half time (they were 3-0 down i think) cos the players "couldnt see each other"
in regards to ping, it only makes a slight difference in cs as has been said but in q3 it makes a hell of a difference (lg on 56k is a joke )

the way I see it

LPBs hate the shooting round corners and constant crying, and HPWs hate LPBs cos they aspire to be one. So is it just me, or would both parties benefit from a High Ping server?
Secondly, I recently switched from High ping to reasonably low ping (about 220 to 60), and whilst there is definitely a difference (mainly the start of the round and the statue of death), the difference aint as great as I would have imagined. Infact, because of my new connect, my playing style has changed, and I generally end up playing worse "ha ha, Im a low ping, unstoppable killing mach.... oh Im bloody dead again".
Lastly, my athlon 1gig died about 2 weeks after I got DSL. Having to revert back to a machine thats 2 years old is a LOT more of a disadvantage than a high ping. For CS only (discounting the downloading I do ;-) a fast machine and a high ping is a lot more playable then a shit machine and a low ping.

Conclusion - lets have one, admin tools allow it to be dont with little fuss, lets give it a chance.

I worked it out, all us low ping bastard spend $$$$$$$ on our connections so we use then all the time and get better, allu high ping bastards spend all day bitchin about ur ping that u dont practise enough!!!!!

And on a game of italy i was sniped down the tunnel fair enough u would say but not coz i was 200 yards away, now that is a n issue that they seem to have gotten right in 1.3.....
....... get ready for more complaints as ur compensation shots may dissappear for ever

Anyhow i got my cable connection in january thinking... ow im gonna own them all , but guess what , the game remained just as hard , the run behind a corner and still getting shot factor seemed much less. but that dint make me kill more ppl.
Only playing the game alot made me get some skillz and finnaly i got to own at moments
As for hpw not having a chance against lpb.... thats bs
a member from my clan (Master) Is owning the server many times, getting scores up to 40 killz or more.

the only diffrence a hpw only server would make is u would think its fair , but it would be just the same.

my suggestions , play the game till u get some skillz
