Half way through season 3 I decided I couldn't be bothered with Lost anymore, I'm waiting to see if season 4 is any better and if its worth catching up, early indications seems to be no.

I thought it was alright tbh. Watched it from the start and have enjoyed it all the way through. Some episodes just fillers but then you never know what is going to crop up that's going to be important in this show.

Lost was amazing when it first came on but over time other programmes (Battlestar, Deadwood, Dexter, etc etc etc) have arrived and continued to improve whereas Lost has become sort of stale :( I still think the first episode of series 2 is one of the most amazing things ever though. "Make your own kind of music...." :D

Well holy shit. Somebody finally asked what the monster is.

That was a pretty good episode though, I enjoyed that.

Just watched it. Been a long time since I've watched an episode of Lost that had me going "ooooh" at the end. Excellent.

I know I should stop watching, but I can't I still watch it week in week out waiting and wondering, though I do like to see that things I had worked out are seeming to be correct, then again Lost may never have happened and it was all a dream of Hurly's

But this new season is really compelling viewing and is going from strength to strength.

It didn't advance the plot in any interesting way, plus loads of shit moments.

Behind the picture frame there's a safe, in that safe there's a video. On that video is footage of..... *gasp* Penny's dad involved in nefarious goings on! Giant who cares!

Plus, that god awful moment with the whispers.. Jack and Juliet look around and *poof* that psychotherapist bird disappears! Gosh didn't see that coming at all!

"I'll tell you who's on that boat, but you'll want to sit down first...." "ok maybe I'll tell you next week. Or the week after, depends how long we want to string you along".

And that whole chemical plant thing - jesus, what a total waste of time. Introduce some new potential danger, then remove said danger in the same episode. As someone mentioned on thefuselage.com I thought that since they now had a finite number of episodes left in the running of the show they'd stop with these shit filler episodes.

Gotta agree with Nath and his comments, utter toss. Dexter on the other hand is how a show should be made :)

You're just getting in to Dexter? Where have you been man!

It's utterly fantastic, and I'm glad to say remains so for pretty much every episode of the two seasons. Not sure if there'll be a third - hope so.

Yes, only just discovered Dexter. I am in love with the actress who plays Rita and the scene in season 1 where she is naked is just mouth watering.

You will be pleased to know that Dexter is returning for a 3rd season (according to tv.com).

There have been times when I have watched an episode and shouted out loud. Love it. It throws all the rules out of the window, there is swearing, nudity, gore and comedy. It fucking rocks.

.... there is swearing, nudity, gore and comedy ....

And quite often, all in the same scene!

Bad news Deebs, that actress doesn't get naked in any other series (probably best know for Buffy and later Angel)

Heard that season 3 of Dexter is gonna air on CBS, means a big tone down in the gore, swearing and nudity I bet!

Sucks. Still, got 6 more eps of S2 to watch.

Lame! :\

Zar - there's a fairly *interesting* scene with her at some point in S2...

I know, I have seen the whole thing last year in Hi-Def :p

Even ITV have just started to show Season 1 now, not sure if its cut or not.
