It's getting silly. They start a crappy camp fire on the beach, with the boat just 100m away.

What's the bait? ..... the camp fire! :eek7:

At least the 720p encodes look sweet!

just hope 720p encodes dont end up like the previous 2 series, eps between 18 and 20 would always have synch issues with lost

Another shitty episode with yet more things designed to infuriate and piss you off. *Gasp* they have outside contact, maybe he's telling the truth! Cut to 5weeks later - *shock horror* it was all an elaborate lie.

This program is fucking bollocks, the fact that Seasons 1 and some of 2 were so good is the only reason I'm unable to say fuckit and stop watching.

edit: also it's fucking queer that Jack didn't say point out that none of those things mentioned proved contact with the outside world, just that they could watch TV. The fact that he didn't suggested that the writers assumed people watching would be too stupid to work that out. They've lost respect for their audience and so it will go the way of all shows where that happens - down the shitter. Thank God BSG is still fucking top notch stuff tbh.

So nath yeah, we'll see you next thursday ? :fluffle:

I agree with ya. Its still compulsive and I believe S3 will be a LOT more giving. And you know it. Tart.

Like I said - I'll be watching it every week, but so far I've not enjoyed it at all. It's just pissing me off. Only reason I stick with it is because of the interest the first 1.5 seasons generated.

I'm leaning the same way as nath atm, it's the start of the season so there'll probably be more questions before any answers though.

When Ben went in and started talking to Jack I thought "omg they're actually going to explain something" but alas, it wasn't to be. I'm talking s01 questions - polar bears, horses, Walt... :(

The horses etc are part of the old Dharma tests, they've got a animal testing facility. Though it is rather odd that they've got the horse from Kate's past there. Purely conicidental?

I'm liking S3 :) Gives me something to do every thursday, so I'm not going to stop watching it any time soon.

I'm enjoying the new series. They have already said the numbers will never be explained, so I've stopped expecting a huge revelation and I'm just watching it as any other show. The "addicted" factor has definitely worn off though.

Episode 3 seen

Some spoilers/comments - nothing huge.

Argh, this episode has bugged me a little bit... Here is another question to be answered! =< Hoping they show what the guy does/how Locke broke his legs/his spine. - Wonder if He'll go back into the 'sweat tent' and get more images featuring boon.

Well I'm warming up to this season now. I love Lock and his story. I can understand why nath is frustrated though. Yet again more mysteries.

So the jock (read as: ruler of men and probably good in bed) has seen the future. Or is from the future. Who knows and I don't want to think too much about it. I like that we will be seeing more of Desmond though.

Also the polar bear has obviously been in existence long before Walt appeared on the island then. Notice the dead Dharma bloke? The t-shirt looked pretty old.

Desmond is a handsome bastard. He's a psychic now. Brilliant! I'm not even going to try and work out whats going on, but I found this picture on another forum and it was pretty cool.

Nice pictures mob :)

Of course Desmond might be a psychic. I don't know why I automatically assumed that the implosion of the hatch had distorted time in some way.

I suspect your post will soon be edited by a mod Athena. It's against the t&c's to provide dodgy links to copywritten material. We don't want the copyright gestapo (MPAA/RIAA/BPI/etc.) after us!:touch:

We all do it, but it's like fight club, or maybe robot club would be more apt here! :flame:

Back to the plot, so it's confirmed for 5 seasons? How are they going to extend the plot that far? Will we start getting the annoying x-files yes there are aliens, no there aren't, type see-sawing?

Just watched ep4 and while it was semi-entertaining i got the feeling that the writers are getting a bit short of material now - it was very predictable, something that isnt very good with a series such as Lost.

I thought it was a very good episode. The sort of episode that one might find if you were to COMMENT on LINX to be found on MINIature NOVAs :)

I really liked the last episode. Jack has started to realise what he is up against, and that he might hold some power over them. Sawyer will probably wise up now, realising he was being played as well. The Desmond thing is just weird, but intriguing. Did you hear Henry say "the sub is back?" That Hydra station might be a link between the 2 islands. The 2 islands thing was a shock to me but it makes sense really.

There are only 2 more episodes, then they're on a break until February. Here is the preview for the final 2 episodes. They seem to be linked, and appear to be quite important. :D

More using spoilers! Morb! - Just seen E4 =D - English Lit 4tw!

By far (imo) the best episode of the season. Quoting 'Of Mice and Men' made me smile IRL. Loved that book. Seems there's a few questions to be answered, but I can wait ^^

Can't wait to see the next one tbh

I don't think we need spoilers tbh. :p The only people watching Series 3 are people that download it, so we probably know better than to click this thread the day the episode airs if we haven't seen it yet. :)

NO SPOILER TAGS - But a spoiler none the less! (BLAME Morb!)

Oh my god at how it ended O_O - The preist had to be the young boy in the church after Eko killed the 3 guys, after the whole "you speak to me as if I'm your brother" - That was pretty good though =( Too bad they killed him off. Wonder what the black mist/machine thing actually is? - Wonder if Jack preforms the surgery on Ben and keeps him alive, or follows Julliet's advise and 'kills him'

Few more questions in that episode, getting better it seems.

Moaners. :( And it's Mob, not Morb. :(

I thought the killing off of Eko was a bit crap really. It seemed rushed. Apparently he got into trouble with the police IRL so that could have something to do with it. Ana-Lucia and Libby also got in trouble with the police IRL over drink driving or something and were killed off in the same episode so I don't know whether that has any bearing, but I guess only the creators know. Does anybody have a theory on the smoke? Because I'm completely lost. It's like it waited to give Eko a chance to redeem himself but when he didn't, he just threw him all over the place. :( The producers have said we've seen the smoke before and not even realised it...so who knows what form it has taken before! At about 22:25 when Henry asks Jack if he believes in god it sounds as if the monster is there too, although it's probably just non-diegetic sound.

Last episode next week, then it's over until February. :(
