They were killed off because of some law in Hawaii where they're not allowed to record with people with a 'criminal record' or something. Eko was driving without a licence and the others were drunk while driving =< Stupid way to kill them off, but it's the law there... I think

What I think!
The man with eyepatch is Radzinksi. He was the guy who was in the hatch before desmond was there. Also ppl have found a glass eye somewhere in season 2. Prolly belongs to that guy.

Jullien is lying I think, prolly just to test Jack.

The black smoke is driving me insane tbh. No Idea what it is.. :\
Another thing, When will we see the return of Michael&Walt? When will we see where those kidnapped kids are? (season 1) So many questions, so few answers! :<

In the very first episode you can see the smoke. Go to the part where the engine explodes on the beach and if you watch very carefully you see the smoke fly down and over the engine then back up again very quickly, you want from about 5:01 to 5:03.

Id rather have a decent number of uninterrupted episodes than the usual week on/week off cycle.

No matter how its scheduled youll only get 22-24 episodes spread over the 40-ish weeks between September & May.

I thought that episode was pretty weak, at least for the last episode before a long break (I don't know if they know that when they make them though) The flashbacks were fairly pointless..we already know she's on the run and can't form any emotional bonds due to that! At least that badass from Firefly was in it though.

But kind of an average "cliffhanger" if you can call it that.

I notice that Sky are showing the first 2 episodes on the 19th, and presumably the next 4 of this "block" will be shown afterwards. Will they continue to number 7 or are they obliged to pause and wait for the Yanks to go ahead again? It seems a bit strange that they would only air series 3 for a month, then go on a break.
