Ok just to make sure noone is uncertain, I'm not trying to speak posítively about Gimmly, but on the other hand I'm not trying to voice a negative opinion about him either.. in a situation like this, I belive that it's best to keep your opinion to yourself instead of lowering yourself to the state that seems to be the general theme in this thread.

You know I have nothing but respect for you Bluesky, and it's nothing personal, but in your first post in this thread you also insulted him quite badly.. I hope you can see my point as I'm not trying to ruin our friendship in any way.

I just wish that for once, people could keep their opinions to themselves, instead of posting shitty insults across the room to each others. Im afraid I disagree Iceflower - I posted so other ppl dont get duped again by this guy - to warn other ppl of the way this guys acts in game despite him saying he has changed/wants another chance etc its simply bs.

Ok my post was derogatory and I stand by that as its how i felt at the time and his post following mine was quite simply terrible. When you have had abuse off him in pm or whatever you may know how ppl feel about him but I agree with ppl that say this thread has gone on too long now. Ppl know what they needed to know imo so case closed.

Well since ive come back and started a fresh start with people im looking to join a nice friendly guild that dus rvring and help with geting artis etc. And that dusnt hate me cos what theyve hard about me befor as ive started a fresh start.

This is the post that gimmly started out with. Don't get me wrong, I think he deserves a second chance, but he should proof himself worthy of it. It's not like when he says "I'm a changed man" that that is all the proof he has to give. He could've replied something more like:
I'm sorry, but that's exactly what I am trying to change, so I hope you would give me a second chance.
And chain-pm'ing someone is also definately not the way that you show your other self. I know bluesky, and I know him to be some of the fairest players in the game. If he says that he has given him a second chance trying to talk to him and gimmly showed his older self again, I have no reason to doubt him.
but then again, I also know Ice, and when he talks about having had gimmly on his ml1 raid and he behaved properly, I do not doubt him either.

Gimmly, when saying you are a changed man, proof it. stating that, you obviously know that you have been acting like a <beep> in the past. that also showed from the leaving message you posted a couple of months ago.
You could only expect to get a lot of crap. Deal with it since it's your own fault you have it now. pm those people who are against you nicely saying what and why. Single pm only and most definatly no cursing words in them how mad or annoyed you may be.
Be polite, say sorry and excuse me and all those kind of words. If you want to proof that you have changed you should lay very very very very low the coming time because you have about the worst reputation one could get in this land called Midgard.

Bottom line is if u want to give him a chance do so - train him urself, u'll get the same abuse we all have, the spam pl requests etc etc, and <god forsake it> if he joins a guild the chances of him ruining everything and nicking the guild chest of loot wudn't suprise me in the slightest.

well if u really want advice m8, if u want to know what to do its simple - keep the character name to urself, make a new FH account as that char, don't respond to the name gimmly, don't act like the "old"<to give u credit> gimmly, so that basically means make this new char u have a respected and well know fellow - and just use ur gimmly account for fun and letting out ur rage, as not many ppl listen to him now neway.
this way ur giving urself the second chance ppl have gone on about, ur proving the ppl who slagged u down wrong.

Ask Acalin if you dont belive me the gm at that time my mate asked me to rejoin and he thought you was a twat too I completey forgot his name i havent seen him since then. What you mean great guild to learn how to play in ? I allready knew how to play i played at release. eh moderna is like relativly new zone, andhes played since release ....... don tmake sense unless he played diff server/realm . i got my skald to 50 just about the time moderna came (maybe a few weeks after, before everyone realised its pling glory), though i already had 3 50's on alb excal which i had played since release. so something dont add up there really

But that is uncalled for. The only ones you need to warn are GM that you know. Mudslinging just demeans your own respect rating ingame. Of course to the rather immature guys posting here it wouldnt change a thing, but, like Ceasar said, et tu Brutus?

Gimmly isnt the only one that misbehaved in MIdgård, though he had the misfortune of getting caught misbehaving before he had found and established himself in a guild so gets ends up in this situation. Applying your standards some guilds need to cull their ranks.
