Vay, this thread really should be closed --- there isn't really much to add, and anything said will just enflame both sides again. If there is so much distrust and dislike between the two guilds then, IMHO, ending the alliance was the right thing to do.

Hell there seems to be more aggro between you chaps than there is between myself and Lamont ... and that IS saying something

It's been good to see so many of LoE active in the Albion frontier of late, had a great time with them last night - pity about Hurbury, but at least we tried. Running around Emain isn't much of an end game from my point of view ... having pride in ones realm and doing something about it, whilst not an ideal end game, is sure better than Counterstrike with swords.

I am tired of watching supposedly good players throw insults at each other all for the sake of keeping their in game reputation in tact.

Some Sotl members obviously had issues with LoE and their play style and some LoE members obviously had issues with how SotL and their play style. We parted company and thats it. Done. Dusted. Finished. All we do now with this stupid comments is lower ourselves and divide Albion anymore.

I don't give a f**k that people think we're shit and that we're inferior and less skilled and weak compared to SotL. They play the game their way we play it ours. Our style might not be so pretty when compared to Sotl but we achieve our goals and for all the idiots on here that label an entire guild with the same comments go take a walk down into town and see all the different individuals that walk round and co-exist but lead different life styles and do things differently and then think again about what you wrote. To be honest both guilds have let this get totally out of control and have shown that we're both fucking pathetic. How we both can claim to be Albion's finest when all we're doing is slagging each other off is amazing.

I remember a very interesting post by Gideon that said that he used to be pissed off by LoE and what we did. Then he realised that we were on the same realm and that although our tactics and style was different to that of SotL he respected us for being good at what we did and after that things were fine evermore between us. Maybe you guys should look at what he said.

Just come back from reinstalling windows and not sure if i am going to bother installing DAOC to be honest after reading the majority of the comments on here. Doesn't matter anyway I'm just a face in the crowd of white and grey anyway and 1 less ain't going to change much...
