Fact:
- LoE never once helped SotL take keeps we were struggling with when we requested assistance
- Whenever LoE "desperatley" called for our help to retake such and such a keep, ALWAYS SOME of SotL would go, ALWAYS SOME would not. People are individuals
- Whenever LoE bitched at SotL for having 1fg elsewhere, LoE had 50% of their own members doing other things (alts, or RvRing elsewhere)
- Majority of alliance events were organised by SotL
- Information WAS relayed across /as when needed (not when we wipe every 1fg of mids/hibs), I myself often relayed extensive info across our /as when I used to do my nightly patrols of the Albion frontier.
- Just the other day, 1fg SotL went to assist a LoE keeptake but got wiped en-route, "you dont give a damn about anything other than RP farmage!!!" whinge shortly followed on /as.. "We got here safely, howcome you didnt!"

People need to learn that some people dont think that an alliance is an extension of their own guild. Unity was never like it, LoE&SotL was never like it. Guilds do their own thing, and help each other out when required or if needed, or if people feel they want to spend their time doing so. Alliances are not just great big guilds.
Pay to play game, people play to have fun and do their own thing.

And as Jenkz said.. the alliance wasn't one sided.
It may've seemed like it at times, but, at least personally, I didn't need to know that 4 fg of albs were dying to xxfg's of mids at xxxx. That's prolly selfish of me, but: a) If there's lots of albs there, and we join in, mids/hibs will either zerg more, or just log = bad.
b) If you've died to 4 fg, 1 fg of sotl will just die too, so there wouldn't be that much point joining in.
c) Arguing with vaya over /as was funny
Of course he's biased, but surely he could think of a better argument then "damn, your selfish because you won't zerg emain with us"?Apart from that, recently the alliance hasn't really done anything together, due to lack of viable PvE raids etc. This prolly contributed to LoE's feelings that SotL didn't care, but nm, whats done is done.

Look, I'll ask again nicely....please can we keep this out of a public forum, I know, respect and have alought of friends in both guilds. It wouldn't be nice to see a slinging match on a public forum, that will do no good other than stroke personal ego's.

That person who posted form sotl who came up with a story....somethgin about sotl not helping loe take a keep.
Let me explain for you what happened.
LOE taking dc with no rams...15 mins door1. SOTL tun up on door 2...walker asks me 'are you claiming'
I reply 'yep'.
Walker 'but u could claim Eras'
lets just take it 1st..objective overall is get rams move on ailine'.
We take DC...walker runs up and claimes it (infront of 3fg loe..who had been attacking a while'.
OK......bit of a joke ....at least i take it that way(although there was no mirth from the sotl side...that was pure 'we get more rps wth it..just claim it'.
I ask sotl - ok since u took that keep...im presuming u will help us take ailine now?
'yes' comes the reply.
Ok...10 misnm later call goes out in emain...that merchants have popped.
all albs manage to come dc take rams.....not 1 guild tho..they....er ...busy.
after 15 minutes they still havnt made it away from mmg. We move on ailine at thurg speed (5-10 mins) and still no sotl....whoops sotl zerged at mmg.....whata surprise...no help from sotl....they took the keep after loe hard work and fucked off ;].
This story ...while lamentable on its own as some kind of reasoning behind a crap alliance.....is just sone of many....many examples.
Of course...loe have taken smaller guilds to do legion(rigante..gop...t30(not so msall i know) and we are often at the forefront of leading retakes.....ie - we help.
come dragon respec stones....u can be sur ethat sotl who dont need any1 or anything...will suddenly be all friendly and 'want to help kill the dragon'. Although if gombur or some1 else from sotl leads it they will prob say 'we organised it so we keep 85% or the stones anyway'.
Sorry to be so petty....but i wont have some1 talking bollocks and try turn it round onto LOE.
As ive said in /tells.....apologies to the remainign nice sotl(those not joining up with last watch yet......there are some nice guys left).
Also I laugh at all the SOTL who have messaged me(again mainly nicer ones) who have said to methat im absolutely psot on...and that sotl are greedy fuckers...and a disliked guild.
As i promised u when u spoke to me...I wont reveal who u are....but it just shows the depth of 'friendship' that is in that guild...and towards its guild......nevermind other players and guilds of albion.
Sory about the petty whine...i was happy to leave this as a pure 'we have split up' (see initial post)....but as im hearing complete balls and a reverse psycology mentality comign in now....thought id outline things in a bit more detail.

Your exact words @ DC were 'DC or Eras, I don't mind whatever'. Could be interpretated(sp?) both ways I suppose.. Anyway. Both doors down, lords dead etc. Half of the SotL group that supposedly rushed up infront of your 3fg are still in the courtyard, from killing archers. Walker says in /g Get to lord, doesn't look like LoE are claiming... Vera comes back from afk 30 secs later, trots up to the lord, and we claim. Thats 2 or so minutes after lord died. Then, suprise! Vaya moans in /as because he hadn't told walker that they wanted to claim.. Lil argument about that, vaya asks if we'll help with crim, I said sure because I thought it was only fair, since they obviously had wanted to claim dc after all. Walker gets reports of 3fg mids at mmg, we say that over /as, LoE say 'No, come to crim and help' etc. We ignore em :> Go to mmg, kill the mids, rest up, start heading to crimm. Meet a group of hibs @ dc x, have a nice fight there, win, and move to rest up before moving to crimmm. Move away, get to brei border, LoE then change the intened keep to Ailinne, and we get guard spam @ dc of 16 mids. We start to head back to dc, I think someone mentioned it on /as, but I'm not 100% on that, had turned it off by now. Get to just past amg, 2 fg of mids attack us, and we get pwned. Turn on /as cos of reactions in /gu, Vayas accusing us of being selfish for not 'helping with ailinne'. We mentioned the fact that we were on our way to crimm,they changed which keep to attack, and dc was under attack, but vaya ignores this and rants on etc, I turn /as off again. We head to HW/penn to check bold, get zerged and all log \o/
Wasn't online @ the time that Vaya /gc aremoved, but from irc it looked like it went: SotL help take a keep, move away to stop inc hibs/mids, get flamed for 'chasing rps', some of our members are by now tired of his childishness, so reply back heatedly, hence an argument, an then vaya beat GReaper to /gc aremove by a few seconds.
As I think I've made clear in /as repeatedly, I didn't think the alliance had much use in rvr, as it just promoted zerging everything. But heh, in pve.. half of our recent pve events have nvolved Loe turning up with half blue con alts, and on one occasion especially, nuking mobs we needed for a particular ingame event (Cliffton event afaik).
Anyway, I digress. The alliance split mostly because SotL didn't want to zerg with loe 24/7, and because Vaya's been in a mood recently. No more, no less.
PS: on a sidenote, regarding dragon raids.. how many successful dragon raids have you lead vaya? :>. Afaik, gomb's lead 3, and asked for a fsls on the last attempt. He then tried to let Arawn (the highest rr scout on the server at the time) have the HotN, but as gombur had rejoined SotL earlier in the day.. our /gu was pretty much like 'er, no, either gifv back the fsls or give another guild the bow'. Eventually the HotN went to Dioz, and gomb kept the fsls. Guild wanting to keep 85% of the drops? No. Gombur wanting something back from all the hassle of leading a 100+ people raid, whilst still being pretty fair with the loot? Yus.

All very trivial I agree(in some ways its not trivial at all though). But when these trivial issues are added up....very frustrating for a lot of people in LOE as assure you.
And what did we get out of it? We got half of legion seals very often ...MINUS the 120 - 280 seals dropped by the 2x GC's guarding Legion (which sotl kept every single stime with no thought of splitting with us (despite loe splittng them when it was loes time to share loot each time)). One of the SOTL peoepl said to me when I finally asked themabout this 'well u neve asked for them'. Wth should we have to ask for half the loot on a joint raid...u would think that they would naturally just split the loot eh?

Periods? Well its a good defence when nothgin else much morally defends you. Anyway...I didnt want this thread to come to this. Jenkz and his very misguided view of things ...tbh.... rubbed me up the wrong way.
He accuses me of screaming for help vs 1fg mids on /as ?? lol wth is he talking about.
Maybe if 1 fg loe die to 1fg hibs...i might ..out of courtesy say /as 1fg mids amg' (and hence the famous sotl then ganking the mids). But imo as a RVR allaince I saw this as good tactics and general good courtesy.
When I once asked sotl on /as other day aafter a wipe ...'where?'
I was told after no reply..and asking twice more... I quote - 'oh sorry..well....im dead now so I dont care what happens' (cheers eh...very nice attitude towards your RVR alliance partner).
General apathy towards the alliance just caused too much of a rift. I recall the last relic raid I organised (it may o rmay not have been the one that earned us the current STR relics....its been that long I cant recall).....but after much discussing with many guild leaders....the time came and we had an almighty turn out......SotL brought 4.
Now 4 for a smaller guild etc....is no problem...but at the time Sotl was regularly fidlign upto 3fg constantly just about. This was justanother case of 'well...balls to it' and just offfered zero to the alliance (apologies to the 4 who came along...thanks).
Bring back Gideon / Pyro combination. Was a guild to be proud of then.

How dare we not have 3fg ready on a relic raid at some ungodly hour!? I'm so ashamed we only had 4 out of the 5 we had online present there. What were we thinking?

I don't actually see /os, but i'm pretty sure thats actually bs. a) None of our current leaders are that pathetic, b) it's not a race anwyay and c) us inviting 1 person wouldn't make a difference. If, you get off your soapbox and cast your mind back not long ago, you'll recall many cross alliance groups, started by SotL.
a) spamming /as omg where?! whilst we're still releasing doesn't actually help much.. I know I at least take a good 30 secs to actualy load after a release. B)Pyro, who was in our group at the time..(You know, the one you asked to bring back, when he's already here?) told you where the hibs were, as did coren, and jenkz. You carried on complaining, so I said something like the above, altho slightly more politer then you phrased it. My views != SotL's. I actually got told to shush in /gc by an officer, but heh.. if you want to whine like an ignorant child, I can give you something to whine about.
Anyway, hm, I think my point is.. Everyone can be moody at times, it's pretty natural. But not everyone has the power to represent his/her guilds views on /as, and /gc aremove whilst being moody.
I've still got plenty of friends left in Loe, and I'm not gonna stop speaking with them just because Vaya thinks we're selfish. But his moody tantrums caused the break up of an alliance that has worked for quite a long time, and thats my last word on this.
