The real fun one is that there are something like 2000 DNS records you need to block at router level to stop this. PiHole solves this at a technical level but jesus christ it's terrible.

They're going to do more investigations into rival LG brands too, going to be interesting to see who else has scummy shit like this... my guess is literally every single smart TV does this.

Change the way people think.

Tell them that any device they own which has any form of intelligence will be spying on them in a multitude of ways and sending that information off to be processed. The problem is that if they are not tech savvy, and to be honest sometimes that is not enough, they will not know how to block/deny this information from being sent out of their home or devices.
