So im gonna fuck off there for the 9/11 ten year anniversary, was thinking new york but will be mobbed. Ive never been to Vegas before and am looking at 2 hotels, the Mandalay Bay and The Bellagio. Anyone been to either of these hotels? Anyone tell me which is best for entertainment and casinos etc? Ive checked trip advisor and both seem mint hotels but need a decision between the 2.

Bellagio is in a lot of movies and think the TV show las vegas is based on it.

That'd be my only reason to chose it, otherwise don't know sh*t all

Have fun(durr...), it's certainly my #1 choice of travel if i ever get that rich.

Doesn't really matter where you stay, all the hotels are free to wander through. The Bellagio is awesome though!

They are both nice, but the bellagio is grander and newer. Nice central location. Make sure you check out a few clubs as well, as the night life there is amazingly good.

If you're gonna go when it's hot, then be warned it get's silly hot.
I bought an icecream at the dam and by the time I'd walked 300 yards to the car it had totally melted down to the cone.
Coolest thing, loads of arcades have no doors, they are open 24/7/52.
Friendliest, safest all night city in the world.

We didnt want to go to new york for it as it would be too busy and las Vegas is gonna be hosting an awesome event so made sense and its somewhere ive always wanted to go.

Kinda figured what Marc just said. Las Vegas is as good place for it.

New york is going to be packed, no fun.
Washington is a bit boring as a vacation site(since you're not just gonna be memorizing and pining there).

Just cause you take a vacation at a certain time, doesn't mean it needs to be just about that

I wouldn't go to Bellagio if you wanna party tbh. Its just way too classy, and most of the people coming there are old people.

Been to Vegas numerous times, and one of the hotels that were truly great, is The MGM Grand. But Caesars Palace is a good number two.

That is.. if you come to party and have lots of fun.

I've personally been to Caesars, Bellagio, The Mirage, MGM Grand and one more I cant remember. So feel free to PM me if you need any more tips about hotels, or what to do in Vegas.

Its just me and my lass so we arent that bothered about partying too hard. A few drinks, a meal and a show will do us just fine.
