Oh, I'll bite - consider it a late xmas present. I did live in Germany. I was born and raised there, as you know. I served in the German military for two years, volunteered an extra year
because I liked it so much.

I even went for a tour in Bosnia in the late 90ies with SFOR to keep the peace. German troops went on a rampage in that area in WW2 - reprisals for partisan attacks.
My grandmother's brother was in the Waffen SS and died in Russia. My grandfather fought in Holland, my other grandfather in Russia.
