You have some fuckwit who is spamming the biggest alliance channel on alb for 2hrs with pretty nasty stuff - and they get a 7 day suspension.

im an alb some of you know me... few nights ago i was in UP grp and saw jjura at HW border running hell very fast..i said he was running very fast ya know... 5 secs later he was killign at mmg... lag ghost... maybe.. who knows

this screenshot http://www.geocities.com/aevarss/sshot078.jpg (copy and paste link) was taken the day i got accused of speed hacking. all i did that day was log on, and go to a sidi raid, then log off halfway through because i felt ill. when i climbed on the horse at gothwaite, i was ported to the other side of gothwaite harbour and found myself on the back of a necromancer galloping through the forest, i didnt get a screenshot of that part unfortunately, the only time it occured to me to get one was after id dismounted, yes it would be very easy to fake that SS i guess, you could say id set it up, but then id say "why?"

i doubt this is the reason why GOA banned me really, i find it difficult to see how they could interpret a paladin riding on the back of a necro as a speed hack, but then take a step back, and look at the other people who have had bugs the same/similar to this and ask yourself "is it still impossible to think that maybe this was a mistake?"

You really should pester GOA to give you a statement, and how they came to the conclusion of you "cheating" then at least your in a possition to defend yourself

Maybe your account got hacked ? In which case GOA should give great sympathy as they hardly have a clean slate themselves.

On the otherhand just quit the game - come along to FFXI, that at least doesnt seam to be run by muppets.

Normally, if GOA recieve reports of someone cheating/hacking the situation is looked into first, sometimes over a period of time.
The requirements for being banned involve:

1) Rightnow reports (Client side logs, screenshots, video footage).
2) Logs (Server side).
3) Being caught red handed.

Not being involved in the situation myself, I will refrain from commenting as to the reasons why Jjura was banned, as I simply don't know.

However, GOA do not ban without justifiable evidence.

Sorry Roalith - but i just cant believe that in this instance, something slipped past the rules or something happened that appeared to be a cheat - but without hearing from the customer and just issuing a ban without getting the other side of the story is just plain crap support.

Not just once... but on mulitiple occasions.

If someone is banned by GOA, it is because over a period of time, they have been watched multiple times in game, by invisible GOA staff, Who found something to be not right.

The very fact that you are unwilling to back up your claims with GOA's explination to you, suggests to me you were caught red handed.

They would not ban someone for cheating, if they hadn't whitnessed the cheating first hand on several occasions.

That is all I needed to hear ... it seemed soooo weird that he got banned for the one occasion. Scared the hell out of me.

This wont mean anything to some people, but he isnt the sort of person to cheat.. even when myself and a friend got so jorribly bored of cs we decided to "experiemnt" p) and have some fun, he didnt join in (as he didnt like to cheat!) even though his RL pals were doing it. He just isnt a cheat, i know him well enough.

i expect i would find it odd if i knew i was doing it... the only clue i had that somthing was going on was when i got a /tell from coonor while i was standing at MMG hw:
