hehe, dont get too exited, archer fixes can mean alot of things.
Im kindda thinking something like this:
"The bow has been found to be a vastly inferior weapon, all archers now receive Throw skill instead of bow skill line"

we noticed the price of arrows was abit to low for low lvls so we reduced the price with 50%

imo i think all archers think their characters should be like legolas from lotr and should be totally kick ass. archers aren't _that_ bad i dont think, ok compared to others they are, but the damage they deal is quite nice imo, and every 2 or so seconds, not that bad.

Change the fumble/ miss rate and up the self buffs , would be a start . Without blocks , Evades , BT's etc we miss around 25 - 30 % of the time on even con opponents . They give us longshot and volley , heh . Lets hope it's a bit better than those . Oh and of course Camo , muhahaha .

By improvement to archers they REALLY mean that they've added a new graphics that show the archer dancing for 10 minutes non-stop and uninterruptable (even when dead) once an arrow lands.

g0ldenbone, Marc Singer the dude from V was Teh Beastmaster Hawk had lots of known ppl in it apart from Hawk himself, who was some unknown guy, Bernard Breslaw was the giant, jack pallance was the big bad guy and janeway from voyager was that witch bird.
If any of you have figurered out, Could be arsed to bother changing the ingame mp3s with your own may isuggest the main theme from hawk the slayer for a few of the in game scinarios, its great battle msuic, very great horse riding music and even better celtic style music for tnn. I only use it in albion for a few of the keeps in camp forest/av marsh and horse rides, or course the big castles need teh wagner, theme from excalibur. Conan the BArbarian soundtrack has enough tracks to fill the whole game tho The music from the pit fighting is shithot for rvr, Gladiator is quite laughable once youve seen the first conan film

yep your wrong.
I can shoot at a mage with PBT with a 2 sec draw time and not even hit him in 5 arrows due to them having it synched with other PBTs in the same group. On top of that our fumble rates and miss rates are like 45% of the time each.
I use a light bow to try and get past BT so my damage on a normal shot is something like 150 in rvr, thats if I get past PBT or dont fumble.
The new bow styles are simular to the ones I posted about on the VN boards last year and now they have just got round to doing something about it. And one reason why they are doing it now is due to the archers from the Crit Shot forum and VN boards sending in a pettition letter to Mythic begging for the changes.
