Its really getting to be too much.

I'm really disappointed, esp since I thought after the last time people all agreed it was wrong and to let raids be a surprise.

Granted, you don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure out something is going on if your zone is lagged all to hell or someone out and about sees a few fg running about.

But really... blabbing on IRC is really too much. Takes all the fun out of surprising the other realm when people are out there waiting for you.

Just want to say to whomever blabbed on IRC, shame on you. Hope you are proud of yourself, and just remember your gaming Karma is damaged now.

Didnt know there was blabber ( no irc here ).
It surprises me that every time there are lamers who have to ruin it for everyone, especially for the organisers of a raid. It takes ages to plan and coordinate, so even worse if some retard spoils it all.

Well, I dunno about IRC but when our group got past your intercept group at Fensalir and ran into your relic force at the amgO the first thig I did was /as Relic Raid. With New Era being 1 of the major alliances of Midgard that was probably enough to spoil your plans...

Thou I have to admit your intercept group was unlucky. They aggroed guards while fighting us.

i just heard from guildy 150 ALBS IN ODINS RELIC RAID!!!! so i began shouting in uppland and ran to check mjollnir, after a slight bit of confusion (my fault sorry ;) ) people got organized and ran to fight PE near fens, then we all charged to gralla :)

by that time there was already a defence cg running.

If you want to complain that some Mids were already at Grallerhorn before you got there ...
Taking keeps took you too much time.

attacking with two seperate groups ain't all that either ... first a group of 73 Attackers, after those got wiped the next wave had 129.

Don't know who came up with that plan (if it was a plan), but you're not going up against Hibs who barely can field 70 lvl50s at primetime.

Jupp, that was my first report when we arrived at amg... then I ran away from the zerg just to see another one further down the road.


But the plan was damn good... PE and Rambos group making sure that there aint no Mids in Odins + that fg intercepting at Fensalir. It should have worked out but like I said: The intercept group aggroed guards when fighting us and died.
I wonder why you didnt send another group to prevent us from entering Odins Gate thou. That was what destroyed your plans.

I had IRC open the whole time. No-one that I could see blabbed about it, at least not on daoc.prydwen.

However, I think the organisation of the raid is what let us down. Taking 90 mins from porting to odins to get to the relic keep and then standing there with no-one having a clue what was going on or who had rams or anything was was let us down. Not a blabbermouth.

Then again, blabbermouths are always so much easier to blame, rather than look at our own failings.

Looking at the timing of that, it's after we were out in the frontier, and after people had run into patrols, giving guilds and the alliance the death spam with numbers.
Also that's a private guild channel. Though I don't know how secure the BO channel is.

we was doing some guild rvr earlier in hadrian, and after meet there some nasty hibs, waited port back, again.
when suddenly /as was spam 120 albs n odin! in copple minutes was relicraid force and we moved mjolle.
gralla was scouts and when notice you taked glen and hlidskial, arvakr and suddenly some guards getting killed relickeep, half mids allready allmost gralla, and rest under 5 minute.

nice plan many say but something went wrong.
we find your force immediatly when you was odin, reason why we was defending so early/fast.

But people on their way there BEFORE we get there because of what they heard on IRC? That's what I don't like.

If you get guard spam or see a bunch of enemies, its your duty to defend your realm and tell on /as what is going on.

Good job for defending Midgard... but having to watch both power and strength relics is gonna get tiresome after a bit. How about we ease you of that burden? ;)

yes something went wrong

1. during muster in APK someone spotted a blabber on IRC and informed our main force leader.

2. GOA´s fuck service that rendered people unavailable to log in....

Colby of Phoenix Legion spend 12 hours today prepping rams and stuff, ldéd on port and couldn´t log back in due to crap server....

It took you at least 30 minutes to get to Grallar after we bumped into you at amgO and rang the alarm bells. When you got to Grallar it was actually with few numbers. Most of your force was spread out taking keeps while most of the mids were already just waiting for a target to strike. We were expecting an attack on Mjolner so most of our forces were gathering there and at Svasud Faste and it took a while to show up at Grallar in full strength.

Do we got definate proof of relic blabber cos even an alb said he didnt spot it in daoc.prydwen. Anyway was nice try..i got a bit worried when the /as said 70 albs at glen...60 at hlid...40at arkv etc :D but well done middies

(those numbers i made up...forgot correct amount)

Feds were gathering at Svasud. We had hoped to go to other frontiers for a little fun. Someone on /b announced losts of Albs in frontier, but there was nothing specific.

I said this in AC and asked peeps to start looking and confirm numbers. Started enquiring about frontier defence CG, even though we had separate CG up for our own little intended outing.

Both Mjol and Gral were checked and were empty. More by luck than good judgement I was at Gral as Jink shortly after (I'd checked Mjol first). Stayed there because few were there and lots of peeps went to Mjol (no surprise really if you think about it ;)).
By that points there were lots of Mids checking various keeps and keeps started falling on our frontier fast.

Next thing I'm dead on the battlements beside the gate. Didn't matter. Target was confirmed. Spammed every channel available to me to confirm Gral was target, I'm sure others were doing same.

I have no intention of saying what Alb movements alerted us because generally we have things that we do as soon as there are reports of something suspicious, I'd bet you have similar.

From chatting to peeps I know one thing: it was a DAMNED good attempt and you were bloody unlucky because your main force bumped into some of our most experienced RvRers who were atually doing something else.

Rather than get upset, I'd prefer you looked at what you did right, and work on what went wrong. Believe me, some of the things I've seen us Mids do would make you cry with laughter.

Its a game. And the game is better when peeps play better.

And Albs, without wishing to sound like Bruce Forsyth... Tonight... Good game.

Yeh yeh its easy to say stuff like that when successfuly defended and thats when most do I guess. Please don't take it that way.

I hadn't expected an attack til Saturday after this week's events but I'd warned peeps I know that it was likely.

No false and empty gratz on "good effort" from me. Its sincere.

But the team I play for is Mid/Pryd, and like my team mates I will do whatever I can to make sure you absolutely fail in any effort against us - within the rules of the game.

I don't know if someone blabbed on IRC. I do know that if it was someone in Fed the person would be removed from Fed - if it was an ally and the guild involved refused to remove the offender then it would come down to a vote but I don't know a single guild we are allied with that would not vote for cheaters to be removed from any alliance we are involved with.

Also it doesn't matter even if it is a 100% secure channel only used by BO members. If they're in game then /gu should be sufficient to let them know. If they aren't ingame then they have no business being told.

EL was in HW when Kjel reported huge alb zerg in Odins. Order of magnitude that causes ld's all over zone. We then made another circle around hw. We then thought maybe we should go defend something or so. We then suicided on hpk. Then went afk for 2-3 minutes. Then rebuffed at Svasud and joined a nice fight near Fensalir. Then helped to gank some albs that were pulling guards at Nottmoor. Then moved towards Odins. We were already in Odins I think when someone started yelling there is albs at doors of Grallahorn.

I have char logged in there (like about half the bloody albion has in Excalibur), I could have been in there at least 10 minutes before you showed up. Our whole group could have been in there maybe about 5 minutes before you showed up. And no, I dont think Ive ever been on BO irc channel.

and Roo you´re right we had a long streak of bad luck add the blabber to that and yuo get the end result.

the shame is that if people are gonna blab about prime time raids then you can sure as hell expect us to start doing morning raids instead.
