Well, thanks guys!

I'm now using mIRC and downloading Klient, although I think I've reached the conclusion that whole IRC 'community' is, in fact, b0llix.

Daikatana looks impressive in a kind of UT way. Here's a link to a pretty screeny and here's another one.

what good scripts is stuff are there for mIRC ?? - i seen loadsa people with fancy shit going on, mp3 displays, TFC server info etc...

Most scripts just end up annoying people, especially the mp3 one.

Try to get one whcih does not do on-join messages, and just tells epople things they actually want to know i.e, they say your name with a ! in front.

There are billions and squillions of scripts, good start is www.influenced.net for the m00 script.

I use an mp3 script, as whenever I listen to music, I'm in mIRC. I do however, echo the display to myself only.

plz explain this script stuff to a person who basically knows fuck all about mIRC. (I usually go to #barrysworld and I go as mungo_jerry or the{m00}mojo)

Right they usually come with a read me file which is very self explanotory.

Mainly the scripts are unzipped to your main mirc directory, and then executed (after closing and restarting mirc) by a /load command line (which u will find in the readme).

The m00 script for example I load automatically by going to options, then perform, and pasting the load line for m00 into the perform window. Now m00 loads up every time I start irc.

See look at that a non spam thread including the use of m00, classic, going to have to use m00 in examples more.
