IQ tests are plain bullshit imo, and so are EQ and AQ and all the other new tests that have popped up during the years, it is impossible to determine someones complete mental capacity by a 40 minute test, just think about it.

I know some guys that did the real test where you go and pay money and some educated academic fuck tells you how well you did, and theese guys got all over 130. I never tested myself, never will, but those guys are plain stupid sometimes, when it comes to computers for example, or even finding stuff on a map.

ehh going to the university or not has nothing to do with your iq level. for example there are alot of authisic(sp?) ppl that wouldnt stand a chance at a university that score very high at iq tests. and if im not wrong the average iq worldwide is someware between 100 and 110 depending on what tests u are using(i got this info from mensa, might remember wrong tho)

I think you would find that the average person with a high degree of education will generally be more intelligent.. and I do believe that is what the original poster meant.

Weeeell... sorry to break it to you but you really cant say much about the average intelligence of a daoc player from the posts here.. They are very few, and also the ones posting are most likely the ones that enjoy doing these kinda tests, and thus are generally better at it

However you can train your logical thinking and get higher scores on IQ tests so if you are taking alot of classes that require you to think in a similar way that the IQ tests questions are designed in, then you would acually get higher IQ from going to the university.

There are different tests that u can use when determining your IQ, if we take the most common ones that Mensa is using the average today is still 100-110. i belive they are uppdating the tests to keep it in that range(not sure tho)

People with an average IQ takes longer to learn and comprehend what is being taught at high level educational sites (like uni), and is much more likely to fall behind and give up. There's even been made research on this field which shows the average IQ of people of certain professions, however that does not mean it's impossibly for an IQ 100 to become ie. a professor.

However you can train your logical thinking and get higher scores on IQ tests so if you are taking alot of classes that require you to think in a similar way that the IQ tests questions are designed in, then you would acually get higher IQ from going to the university.

You can get a couple of extra points from exercising your brain with IQ tests, however you drop back to your normal level fairly fast after you stop doing so.

Comprehending Information does not meen you have high IQ, it only meens that you can remember and use the information. Now If we are talking analyzing information and drawing conclutions from information then it has abit more to do with your IQ, since analyzing is a logical way of thinking.

Now that list that you are showing doesnt meen that the education level of a professor is what makes him have higher IQ. It is more likley that ppl with high IQ is drawn to this kind of education. My first post was an answer to a post that indicated that you would get higher IQ from going to the university or that u need to have a high IQ to finnish a university, wich i think is wrong.
But i must also say that one part when you are trying to get your professor title is that you have to discuss and defend your oppinions against a panel of ppl and this would be easier for ppl with higher IQ.

Last online IQ test I took said my IQ was 151. Take these with a pinch of salt. Most of them just want you to think you are more intelligent than you are so you'll buy a framed certificate or something I apparently was 4 iq short of being the equivilent of a nobel prize winner, and I knew the minute I clicked submit I'd got one wrong
