Fuel Injection system is :
Motorola Modular Engine Managment System (MEMS-SPi]
Motorola Modular Engine Managment System (MEMS-SPi]
Year=1991
Make=Rover
Model=414
Your search found zero records, please make sure you are using the full manufacturer name (Chevrolet not Chevy) and a four digit year. Also use PICKUP as the model to find all pickup trucks instead of using F-100, Silverado, etc.
That Rover looks hideous. I've got nothing against bodykits (I had one on my old car) but that one doesn't look like it even fits properly...Originally posted by ?
I was looking at making it look a little like this... but first I want to get the most out of my engine:

I just wub my Rover.
Thanks for the advice. Would the K&N offer much more of a boost than my current injection system?

A K&N on a 1.8 K Series will give you roughly 5-6bhp extra. The other thing you could do would be to add a decent sports exhaust system, this will allow for another 4bhp. (Note: this is not a big bore lamer faggot rude boy system a la frankie or TUG, but a more subtle approach). Then I spose chipping it would add another 5 or so bhp (I know nothing about this). All in all it's a nice gain of probabley around 15bhp, which doesnt sound alot, but on an engine that generates around 120bhp as standard it makes a nice little gain in speed and responsivness.
I'm only saying this as an MGF owner, it has a 1.8 K series too, I would assume it would be the same for any car with the same engine though. (e.g. Rovers, Lotus Elise, Caterham etc, although the caterhams already have perfect exhaust systems).

You have to get a full system (including manifold) to notice an increase in performance - front pipe back just wont do! (I made that mistake at first)I will have to get a whole new exhaust won't I or the other parts will just restrict performance.
