For those 6 Months before the nerf bat, the RP earning on that class is atrocious, so when the nerf hits, they're able to counteract it with RA's.
Be nice if Mythic give the insta kill OP class to Albs this time, just to see how long it is before the nerf bat hits us, i seriously think Mythic plays Mid so the glaring imbalance is not noticed.

uninterruptible moc with no spend power
what more? .........
ah ye and rr5 ability nuclear bomb 1 button with ground target that will help in siege of keeps :p easy mode relic raids xD

they can put also in RA list of this class Baod with 5 point to spend on lvl3 :p reuse every 3 min purge 3 free ra ;)

to get serious just fix the god damn game we need no other classes other than after SI classes as some other said fix the underpowered classes and make better the pure support classes to help fg's

Dont really need any new class's imo. but new class's recently have been terrible for alb :S (group friendly wise)

Hoping we get a decent one :)

Reduce range on sorc mezz - make the cleric pbaoe mezz target aoe mezz, with bigger radius and duration, and put it in enhancement line.
Give mach5 to merc's
Reaver-style lifetap to paladins and armsmen
Delete warlock and bainshee, and reduce vampiir weaponskill
Either reduce the 90% lifetap on SM's to 70% (or whatever everyone else has..)
Or give a 1-sec reuse on it - infact, add 1-sec reuse to all lifetaps(castable ones - not insta)
Increase BD insta-lifetap to 10 seconds
Give back leetness to zerkers and savages
and for christ sake put a reuse on all stunspless that allready dont have =/

Would be nice from my PoV atleast!
Give some power to melee chars, fucking casterzergs everywhere :/

Another thane-lookalike hybrid for Midgard with something similar to heretic mob-rez or and/or magic shield against heretics and bainshees. Albs and hibs get something similar, but with a pet-killing ability that can dispell or make the BD/SM pets go berserk on the nearest target no matter friend or foe and a magic shield against warlock chambers. Further thinking would lead to Midgard getting that ability against cabalist/sorc/theurg pets and animist pets aswell. :)

The alb and hib class will have major mezz-breaking/interrupt abilities on par with the valkyrie that is even worse than the thane. :p

The new hib and mid hybrids can stealth aswell, like minstrel.

The mid class get access to different types of 'Doom Spear' that is basically doom hammer, only it's Throwing Spear styles and have to be specced for to be more powerful.

The hib and alb hybrids get access to a chamber or two, if specced for it, and the alb hybrid get 1 pet aswell that is basically a weaker version of a fossil healer with different graphics. Let the whine begin etc. :D

i dont know about new classes but the nuclear bomb comment got me thinking

i rekkon things be much more fun if there were more keep/relic raids, so how about making an ability or perhaps a crafted item like a bomb that would do immense damage to keep walls/ doors say 10-20% on a level 10 keep ?

also it should leave some kinda aoe diesiese for 5 mins or so effecting the blast radius and it should be a NASTY diesese so stop peeps dropping a dozen of them and blowing a wall in 1 go and running in

and to top it off if something like this were given to the stealth classes in each realm it would give them a very handy role in keep takes, which i think most people would agree is something stealthers need


just a thought :)

Alb dont need any other classes at all. We have to many and the abilities apread to thin as it is. Problem is we will never get the fix required as it will screw to many toons over.

shame that will make paladins a 2nd choice. But saying that atm id take a BM friar over a pally simly because of the added utill of resists + ST.

Still no decent end regen tho ;x Sure, end reduction is nice, but unless you plan on having everyone get lw3-4 and end over time pots aswell as regular end pots, I'd prefer some decent end regen :/

imo have some more historic influence, so have classes linked to invading mongols or huns etc. or give armsman a 'morph' where by they become mounted on horse with a lance and shield and may charge causing heavy dmg ( but with a high RUT). Or what about some kinda necromantic witch (female only) that is similar to necro on Diablo2, summon some kinda pets, golem or skellies and use spells like:

Poison Dagger - imbues a bladed weapon with an inflicting poison which causes enemy targets to fumble attacks/spells

secondary effect: damage over time 100 damage per tick

P.S also give gargoyle heads etc as shields :DDD

still think the ability to "pet" an opponent and having him/her do your bidding for 15 secs would be exceptional fun.

why add new classes when you cant grp more than 8 players anyhow +

A, not solid class for your average pvp grp
B, insanely retarded and overpowered in PvE / PvP

Witch (female only) - avalonian, briton, iconnu :

has access to the dark arts of witchcraft, using them to inflict poisons and banes upon their enemies, causing weakness and vulnerability to certain attacks, also has access to familiars to do their bidding.

Armour - Cloth

Weapons - Staves, Daggers, Shield(class specific embalmed zombie / demon / gargoyle / human heads)

possible spell lines - Necormancy, Witchcraft, Conjuring

spell ideas:

Poison Dagger - Witchcraft (damage: matter, self buff, instant cast, 30 second duration, 3minute RUT)- imbues a bladed weapon with an inflicting poison which causes enemy targets to fumble attacks/spells (weapon skill based on spell line the spell is in, not weapon proficiency/strength)

sub spell: damage over time 100 damage per tick

Lucifer's Ebb - Conjuring (damage: heat, 3 second cast speed, 1500 range, costs 100 power)- Engulfs a target in searing flames causing Direct Damage(300), and then a short scaling damage over time spell, first tick 50 dmg, second 100, third 200 (DoT stacks if multiple 'Lucifer's Ebb's are in effect)

sub spell: 40% snare, duration 10 seconds

Gathering Dark - Necromancy (damage: spirit, duration 20 seconds, cast speed 4 seconds, range 750) Curses an enemy corpse making it incapable of ressurection while the spell is in effect (spirit resists of target taken into account)

sub spell: debuff to matter and spirit for 30 seconds after a target is ressurected (providing primary Gathering Dark spell isn't in effect): duration 1minute after Gathering Dark has faded


just a few ideas, i like the resurrection 'immunity' and poison dagger personally :D PLZ READ MYTHIC!

Albs will probably get another class that nobody want's to group with only in PvE (Heretic, Necro).
Mids will get a new class with even more insta's and abilities and of course most Mids claim it is balanced but the class will get a major nerf a few months in and it will make all Mids cry. (Warlock, BD).
Hibs will get another class to exploit walls and keep situations (Animist, Bainshee).

Think my indication is fairly correct upon what classes we can expect in the next expansion.

Tainted

These 'creatures' were once soldies in arthurs legions, but taken by howling beasts under the moon and mutilated. they returned as savage wolfen packs, during the day seemingly normal men & women, but at night transformed into hideous snarling beasts.

Armour - Studded
Weapons - Slashing weapons, Shield (between 8:00 - 20:00 game time), natural weaponry: Claws, Teeth (between 20:00 - 8:00 game time)

possible spec lines - Slash, Dual wield, Two Hand, Lycanthropy

stats increase like a vampiirs, but only if the character is specced in lycanthropy

spell/style ideas:

Maul - Lycanthropy, target is savagly attacked by the beast of the moon,
endurace cost - low
damage - high

Gaping Maw - Lycanthropy, the great hulking creature opens its drooling maw to reveal rows of glistening teeth
instant cast debuff
duration 15 seconds
RUT 30 seconds
target effect - Fear/Panic(target is overcome with fear and suffers penalty of 50% fumble to all spells/attacks)

Glow of the moon - Lycanthropy, inflicts a vile poison setting in the change of the wolf in its victim
offensive proc
instant cast
duration 30 seconds
RUT 3 minutes
target effect - Infliction (target is set down the path of becoming a lycanthrope and suffers a 25% penatly to all stats)
Illusion - target is transformed into a hybrid snarling beast

maybe some kinda abs buff too in lycanthropy, again another new-ish concept to daoc :D, no doubt the actual classes will be more dull straight forwardly overpowered
