In all seriousness, I can semi-understand Bodhi's banning - but not fully - he contributed a lot to the forums, and wasn't thick as pig shit as a lot of the users are. He would debate properly, converse properly and actually make intellectual input into discussions and threads, if you could take his cock out of the PS2 USB port.
Yes, he's been abusive - but largely they're "fun" abuse. If you're banning Bods on the way he's 'trolled' people in the past, you need to ban half the forums. I've done it, I've seen many many other people do it, and worse than Bodhi's. The reason why they get away with it? Because they're stupid, and do it with such lack of conviction that it's glanced over.... whereas with Bods people are more likely to listen because he comes across as pretty well adjusted with a good mind behind him - so the argumentative troll is said in such a way that it appears aggressive and hurtful, but you know in all reality there's a cheeky grin on the bearded geezas face behind that monitor.
I don't mean to ressurect the closed thread, but it was closed before I could even see the forums, and would like my input heard. Hell, you look at the conversations and verbal insults we threw at each other on the forums - they were pretty bad. And I'm still defending him? Why? Because he's one of the boards most interesting and unique members, removing Bods permanently would almost be as bad as when you threatened to take Wij away. And we get on pretty well, despite our raging arguments about how shit the PS2 is et al. People don't seem to be able to understand that some people put their opinions and debates forward aggressively, sticking with their own point of view, making sure it is heard and debating points against their own. There's nothing wrong with that: there's no malice, or intent to hurt. Fuck, I'm exactly the same in my way of debating. Ban me if you want.
Stop making the forums bland, uninteresting and dull. We all need a bit of entertainment, and currently the trend seems to be "lets clone a load of dull daoc sheep and make them prominent".
