I'm going to close the thread cos yet again it is just going back to insult - counter-insult.

Mank!, assuming you don't post anything too OTT then I will warn you before suspending your account again should the situation ever arise when action needs to be taken, although you seem sensible enough that this would not be the case. When I did suspend you the last time it was mainly due to the fact that at the time you and a number of other forum regulars simply didn't seem to understand that a change was needed and the only way to get that point across was to suspend the accounts then contact the people directly which is what we did, rather than just editing various posts, practice which people didn't seem to take seriously.

Since then most people appear to have got the message but posts from the likes of Bodhi and Exor show there are still a few individuals who cannot draw the line between what is acceptable and what is not, however ultimately it is up to us whether or not those people should be given a second chance and let back onto the forums. In the case of Dimebag he was a repeat offender, both on here and in IRC, so his permanent ban is merited in my opinion, as far as Wij was concerned it was decided by other people that he could be trusted again although he has been banned twice now so if he was to do something ban worthy again I am pretty sure the ban would remain in place for good.

I personally do not think the forums have become any less bland since Dimebag was removed which is when this fuss was last kicked up, if bodhi n Exor remain banned I think the same will probably be true then.
