Why the same routine? at the moment you don't know what you want to do. Id say a good long back packing trip might help you. since you will get plenty of time to think about your future.
and you'll meet other people who are also travelling. you can share your experience and 'problems' with them and the other way around. I'm sure you will have a much brighter idea about your future after such a trip.

I had the same feeling as you two years ago. Nothing to do in my town besides getting shit faced. But I got off my fat ass, studied in ireland for 6 months (im from belgium) made alot of "foreign" friends. then during the summer I went back packing visiting awesome places and made some new friends. It gave me another perspective of how life could be. So really, perhaps you should look into it. It doesn't have to be expensive.

edit: and I'm not saying the navy is a bad idea, It could be a great experience. but I would take a long good holiday before that.
