I am sorry that they can get themselves to beg for a woman like I imagine they would for the last pizza slice. I am sorry you had to experience that. I am sorry so many men dared stand out and so openly cry out to the rest of the server population that they deserve absolutely no respect from other players and especially none from the women. A lot of beautiful, strong women play this game, I ask you to let us play in peace. None of us log on with the wish that some stranger will ask if we are RL women and then proceed to tell them how sexy they are. Why do I have to take herrassment, just because I choose to play DAoC instead of knitting socks?

This is an ongoing issue, not something miraculessly started by one thread, And while this might not be a problem to some, it is a problem to others, it is a problem to me when I time and again am invited to come visit someone for a little "one on one", when I feel I have to lie to ppl to avoid getting told that they bet I am really hot and they would like to f*** me. This is not about one thread, it is about shedding some light on the sexual herrassment that takes place both in game and on BW. And of course, the slobber can be flattering, until it hits your cheek, but who is to judge when and how it is flattering? Wouldn't the easiest bit for both men and women be to respect eachother for the indivduals they are?

If it makes someone uncomfortable then that is reason enough to stop. There is a very thin line between having a joke and sexual harrasment. And it's the lady who decides which side of that line the comments fall, not the lads making the comments.

And Naj, why do people have to comment on what you look like at all? That only matters in certain circumstances, and playing a MMORPG isn't one of them

As much as some of the posters above blame the hurt feelings on a lack of sense of humour the real problem lies with little boys who don't know how to behave around, let alone to, women.

It is not a question of chilling, it is a question of ppl moving the line of what is morallic acceptable, what is inacceptable outside game is appearantly widely accepted in game. How can you justify treating anyone like an object you can have just by begging for it? "Could you pass the Medea please?" As I said before, this is not just a "one-thread issue" it is a problem for many women in game that men are constantly hitting on them, inviting them for sex and coming with sexual comments. Most of these women say "I just try to ignore it"..and now I ask you, do _you_ really want to be someone who the women "Just try to ignore"?

I am sorry to see that so many of you answer yes.
