The various levels are all taken from Robert Rankin books, with BarrysWorld itself being a reference to the Brentford Triangle series. The levels and number of posts required are as follows:

0 :: Penge resident
30 :: Brentford resident
100 :: Phnaargos resident
500 :: Talks too much!
1400 :: Earther
2000 :: Forum Diety

Custom titles are handed out by the admins/moderators, don't ask them for one, its not likely to go down well - or work.
Please don't try and spam your way to the next level, its frowned upon - you'd be shunned (see above) to the icy depths of some forgotten thingie.
Don't go flaunting your new level with a new thread unless you're reaching Forum Diety - when its common to have some sort of utterly tragic speech. Doing so at other levels and we'll hold you in contempt, or a cell. Either way, we win.

It's just a title you get depending on how many posts you have; it doesn't mean much, just gives everyone an istant idea of how long you may have been here and encourages you to spam as much as possible to fit in...
