If I wanted to buy a spot and a lamer was "camping it" I would buy it just because the idiot was camping it.

The reversed auction is there to make sure people can buy the spots where ever you want to. And if you cant afford, get lost and pick another spot.

How many rivers must be cried before people will go out, get lives, come back and look at the screen and think "damn, I really whined over something so pointless?"?

What's sadder? Being pissed off that someone is camping a spot, or being so wedded to a spot that you use a cheat to camp it in the first place?

look, RB was first on that spot, lets say they bought it from the second they arrived, you'd have no chance to get that piece of land.
you'd have searched for another spot and bought it.
now they try to save some money , which is normal. Pretend they already have a house on it. they were first.

so.. I roll a lvl 1 char and let some peeps take me to Sidi.

Now look, I was first in Sidi, lets say I killed every monster here from the second I arrived, you´d have no chance to kill anything in Sidi anymore. You´d have searched another dungeon to farm in.
Now, I`km trying to save some xp, which is normal. Pretend I already have a full alliance zerg there. I was first.


It´s not about "being first at a spot", it´s about "being first to pay money for the spot". As soon as anybody is able to do that, - buy a plot that hasn´t been sold yet - there´s absolutely no problem with it. He may stand there all night long and nobody would complain. But as soon as it´s impossible for everybody to target and buy an open spot, it´s plain cheating. Simple innit.

If you want a spot and you got the money go ahead and buy it. If you don't have the dosh you can't buy it anyways...whether its uncamped or has a herd of hefallumps sat on it.

Yea, a spot is camped! So what?! You can still snatch the plot under their nose if you have the cash. Nobody actually prevents you from buying that plot if you have the money so why the hell do you complain about it?

How the fuck does a spinning player that says "The X spot is claimed by the Y guild" do any harm? I'm not in a habit of flaming other forum posters but I'll make an exception in this case: Get a life and get over it loser.

The person that started this whole whine thread is an idiot. Period.

As long as there is no exploit involved that prevents you from buying the spot (which there has been rumors of), I am not so bothered about people camping a house spot. I would love to see someone buying the lot from under them, tho. :D

But it is kind of fun when some of the people who post here saying this is BS are the ones actually doing it. :m00:

As said, I don't see a problem in it as long as there using no bugs to prevent you buying the plot if the price is right. All RB guy is doing is standing on a plot scaring ppl off, If your scared off by this. Then look else were. Someone could easily come along at anytime and buy the plot from under him, And chances are you'll see some of this around the 50p mark.

Ohhh and he loooks so lonely, I might pop down there today for an hour and keep him company :)

I went over there. The RB guy is a very nice person, he doesn't mean any harm. I had a small talk with him, about it being so boring for him there, and then went away wishing him good luck.

There is another person who is spinning around without ever talking and is obviously using a macro program. Ironically enough he's from the guild Defenders of Justice lol.

Which is fine, and I'd respect that - anyone that actually has the patience to hang around a plot like that deserves it in my book.

Of course it doesn't matter what I think, as I have about 2p :)
