Thats fine, i would trade it no prob for like i said in last post, an all singing dancing mezzing, lifetapping, charming, speeding caster. Or one that would could chuck little luris out of its arse and chain stun that would be 500+ dmg per hit and make you into a mushroom for the duration of you daoc life :drink: If we couldnt have that give me a mid version of a sorc, or a cc class who can deal dmg.

This is exaggerated even more because the amount of damage done by certain Warlocks spells is so high. To help mitigate this issue, we have reduced the damage for the following Hexing spell lines :

2 Lesser Beguiled Pain - Damage : 10 3 Beguiled Pain - Damage : 15 8 Greater Beguiled Pain - Damage : 34 13 Lesser Beguiled Pain - Damage : 66 18 Beguiled Injury- Damage : 77 24 Greater Beguiled Injury - Damage : 97 34 Lesser Beguiled Hex - Damage : 135 43 Beguiled Hex - Damage : 168 49 Greater Beguiled Hex - Damage : 191

you cannot compare warlocks and bonedancers to ordinary casters; in fact they should not be called Casters but Insters.

That's exactly my beef with the class; it allows clueless and skilless fools whose previous major achievement was RR3 to just chug away and get high realm rank through a rinse repeat of just going out and killing one target and then dying, ad infinitum. Any other class (yes, including Sorcerers), and they would not be able to get their 800+ RP fix each run.

Mas, As already mentioned which class cept warlock can run into a grp and kill one. Name 1 class who can run into a fg, peel off one of their casters, then die, rinse repeat? 1 min downtime (releasing, buffing, porting to mid keep, run out etc.) that's at least 1 kill every 5 min if it's an active day. 800 rp's every 5 mins = 9600 rp's hour, not bad for a solo class imo that's 48k a day (5 hours online) that's 336000 rp's a week - that's pretty fucking nasty innit?

name me 1 class who can do that

I was talking about warlocks in thier current state, the nerf hasnt happened yet so surely that means warlocks are still 'significantly overpowered' untill the patch is released?

Yes warlocks are stupidly overpowered, but then again all casters are. Casting speed is way too fast and caster survivability is way too high. I rarely even attempt a caster in 1v1 due to the fact that they have so many tools available to them i might aswell sit down and die. The only times i will attack a caster is when he is in combat attacking someone else or im high up in a tower.

General caster OP can be resolved by one of the 3 things below imho.

Soft Dex cap for casting (300 dex or thereabouts)
Reduce damage

or my personal fav

Remove bladeturn.

that heals and having spreadheals as backup and nearsight and bolts and range primers and a victorinox "macgyver" style knife

on another note bainshees needs fixing to :)

Did it once with reaver. But it was adding not alone. There was some rather big scale fight in amg OF and I was solo (usual stuff for reavers pre-NF) and thought wth, let's see if I can do it since I am dead anyway when they see me. So totally went for a caster, slammed and levi killed him before anyone could realise it and ofc died couple seconds later. Too bad he was ress ill! :(

And too bad I can't attack albs, should be easy to take a normal fg of warders in epic alone with bombing! :D

Mythic should never have given baseline stun. Mythic obviously recognise their mistake as new hib casters don't have it. Thing is a change just won't happen after this long.

they get red AE mezz & Lifedrain nukes in dark spec ?

That's pretty pathetic really. Have you tried playing a Paladin or an Armsman (or a Hib/Mid equivalence) in RvR...? Best armour in the game, buffed to the teeth, capped stats, dead in 3 seconds without dealing a single point of damage to the [insert caster class here] that killed you.

hehe lucky stun chicken is getting nerfed and some warlocks are starting to realise the purge RA is sometimes needed to help kill :) Warlocks will rule again :(

lest say,
1: u see a wl
2: u got NS
3: u got poison
4: u dont see wl
5:
a) u die after few secs
b) u purge dot
6: u can go try mezz wl now without purge ;p

other way is after NS and dot u use LT or chambers, ( or make a frog :clap: ) but is waste pow, and pow on wl is gold

Your class requires 0 skill to play even though you may (this doesn't apply to you 2 I'm sure) be skilled yourself.

QQ more comos, we are here to stay and as long as i have my unit cast and chambers you will whine. You whine cause it takes no skill, actually you whine cause you cant beat them, if they wasnt insta killers and took no skill to play would you still be whining then ?

Sick of most of the whiners tbh, buy moc and go out there and get some rp, i could write a whole list of whines, aoe bolt range mezz, hib stun, reaver bomb, infs, cabas, mins fotm grps running bridges ganking soloers etc etc, but theres no point, its a game play it and stop whining.
