Am I the only one sick and tired of Sylar as a villain? I think every single thing he did this whole season so far has been predictable. I was hoping Elle would have killed him for good and redeemed herself, joining the "good guys", but... the little creep survived. I'm so sick of him, his smug smile and his little "muahaha, I am so evil" lines.

With you 100% Levin. Plus the moments of tension were stupid too - the fact that when Maya turned on her power everyone fell over but Sylar without his powers was still able to keep standing and the gun pointed at her. Surely she could have done it enough to make him drop it? Also, the almost but not quite bit with Elle - ooo she hit him but miraculously he managed to summon the strength to carry on running. Pff I say, very pff.

They often have slightly contrived situations and storylines.. its a little meh sometimes, but I've got used to it over all the episodes

How many episodes were there last season? 18? :S Felt like a lot more..

They definitely need a new bad guy.. I had hopes for the Bogeyman, but it turned out to be Parkman's dad and he wasn't all that.. then there was Adam, but now he's out the picture (for now)..

..Sylar's back.. which is cool, but even so.. what next? Would be nice to have something awesome and new next season, otherwise it'll start to get old as it will be more of the same. What mysteries and plotlines are left?

Just the Company vs. Peter and Co vs. Sylar now..

Technically, Peter SHOULD own all.. eventually..

You all still forget that peter has yet to rescue his irish chick, the threat of the virus is still there - the powder it turned into and that damned symbol appearing on peters hand? Maya is alive and she could quite easily cause a catastrophe. Noah is back on board with the company. And lets not forget they can just add more characters.

I liked Sylar as the bad guy in season 1, season 2 felt a bit weak with Adam as the main bad guy as he isn't quite so evil. I know he wanted to destroy the world with a virus, but he doesn't go around killing innocent people!

But aye, maybe it is only under the influence of his "power" that he can heal. When apart from his body, his blood can't heal anymore. Shame he never met Linderman.

Does this mean any character has the potential to come back from the dead?

And aye, Irish lady still in the future.. but supposedly Peter has changed that future.. which makes things confusing.

I couldn't work out if the white dust was just the nuclear-ified virus, or something more significant.. I missed the symbol on his hand, probably due to dodgy quality :x

In case anyone doesn't know, Season Two is not in fact over..

It's being shown in two parts, the second of which ("Villains") is going to start airing in 2008 sometime.

Originally, Heroes: Origins the six episode miniseries was going to fill this gap, but its been shelved/cancelled due to the writers' strike in the US.. which is a bit sucky.

So there's some better news, hopefully things will kick off again pretty soon.

Aye, writers strike and it's the customers who pay, now every series is released on dvd as a part 1 / part 2 set. Or the series are now 13 episodes as opposed to the 22-24 previous.

Looks like they've gone backup to a decent budget.

Come on the initial part of season 2 was dreadful as far as the budget was concerned, the worst blue screen scene ever in the Ukraine bit, was laughable!

Seems a few characters from the Graphic Novels are in there too, infact the most recent chapter finished up with the super speed woman eyeing up Hiro for a mission.

First season was awesome, original and brilliantly done.

Second season was disappointing. Apart from the Hiro/Kensei storyline (which was good) it was essentially just more of the same.

Season three looks like they have run out of ideas and are reverting to Marvel-type scenarios which for me is disappointing as the whole reason i enjoyed the first series was because it wasn't the same old black-and-white superhero thing you'd expect from movies like X-Men etc.

Still, i'll wait and see. Hopefully im wrong.
