I have had my suspicion on who killed Hiro's dad over the past week, but i think this episode yesterday confirmed it!

I think it could actually be the guy that Claire is "dating" at the moment. Firstly, pushing/falling off the building with Hiro's dad And perhaps flying off?!] and then he obviously has revenge on his mind with getting Mr Bennett!

Seemed like a fairly quiet episode this time other than that. Wonder what happened to DL?! - Unless he did actually die after the battle with Syler etc

Hmm

Didn't DL die in Malcolm McDowell's office?

Do people reckon Sylar has the 'virus'?

Her power isn't a case of memory though, it's more like visual mimicry, monkey see, monkey do soto speak. :p

My thoughts are that a few people have the same abilities as other because they have been given to them as an experiment. Like Claire's new boyfriend can fly but only after he got those 2 marks on his neck. The same thing happened to Matt.

Matt could read minds before he had the 2 marks, in Episode 4 he was kidnapped by the company(in the bar when he was trying to read the Haitian's mind) He also found Molly by reading her mind in a prior episode.

Thinking about why Peter's lost his memory, maybe he met the Haitian at some point and as usual couldn't control the new power thus destroying all his memory?

I think matts dad has the power to posses peoples bodies. Because matt when he talks to Mrs Petrelli says her wounds were self inflicted and hiros dad probably was possesed and jumped to his death

If Hiro's dad was possessed, why was there a guy who ran at him and pushed him off? :)

I don't think it's mind control as such, I think it's more ability to induce dreams.
What if Hiro's dad's worst nightmare was someone dressed like that coming to get him? Making him jump off, there was no other markings found iirc.

Same for Mrs Petrelli, her worst nightmare could be a swarm of insects, so she clawed at herself, thus the self inflicted bit.

Molly could be trapped in a perpetual nightmare right now so she can't wake up.

So it could be sort of mind control, if any of you have seen the anime Death Note then I would say that Matt's dad has a power very similar to the death note.

Im starting to miss Hiro, there needs to be more events going around him at the moment, the small snippets theyre showing just arent good enough fo r my needs!

So Matts' dad done a runner, what could he possibly be upto at the moment?

Shame about that Irish guy, i was starting to like him but i can see Peter is starting to get back into the jist of things, but whatever could be in Montreal? And least we know how he was able to fire lightning-strikes now.

What confused me was this so-called "Copycat". Micah showed her a comic book which was the 9th Wonders, but i thought after Isaac was killed no more was in production? Although i do recall seeing the conversation with Hiro/Isaac saying that the comic Hiro had didnt even hit the printers... Hmm

Will probably get pulled after 5 episodes because they tried to do something different other then reality tv.

Then they will have the cheek to bring the DVD out at a full £40 price with an awsome fucking 5 episodes on as the COMPLETE SERIES.:puke:

yeah, what is it with the popularity of these reality shows ?!?

I thought maybe Nicky told Suresh where she'd left Micah but you could be right.

Anyone else really aware of the terrible writing/acting in the latest episode? Several moments that made me cringe such as "nothing makes any sense anymore!". Gah, come on :\

Did you see how bad that Blue Screen was? Where Bennet and the Haitian were.

However though I thought it was quite a good episode and we now have insight into how Matt's powers are going to develop, what if all the other heroes powers will change over the course of the series? I'd love to see Hiro whip out some new stuff.

It's definately not as well written or directed as season one. Some of the cuts from scene to scene feel abrupt, the blue screen is obvious, and the dialogue is a little more predictable. It's not jumped the shark by any stretch, but I do wonder if they have changed the team working on it.

A lot of it seems to be going the 5 years in the future route, DL's dead, Nikki's going to loose Jessica, Sylar has the illusion power. A few things are different though, the one that stands out for me so far is that Nathan never got elected.

Yeah it jumped right out at you didn't it? There was a 15 min making-of after the ep on BBC2 last night about how the show is set in all these locations around the world but they never left LA for filming - they really didn't try very hard with that scene. :)

I watched last night, but am already beginning to wonder, half way through each episode, whether I can be arsed to finish it. It's just dragging. I find myself not really caring about the story at all, as there's very little story going on. The poor production is just the dog shit on the bottom of the ugly shoe now. I don't think I'll rush to see next weeks.

Perhaps they have had some serious budget cuts or something...it doesn' seem to have the same quality about it.

I think everyone's expecting a bit too much - I noticed poor dialogue and average production throughout the first season.. it was there, but it didn't really bother me once I got used to it - I'm still loving it :)

Is just annoying having to wait for new episodes - when I watched Season 1, I heard about it late and so had plenty to watch one after the other, which helps keep the pace going a lot. When I had to wait for episodes, it was nearing the end of the season and things had really kicked off and got interesting so it wasn't such a problem.

Perhaps that's the trouble here? *shrug*

But meh, am still having fun :)
