Sure, a Reaver will kick the shit out of a solo Skald or Shadowblade. But if you watched the video Tilda posted last night (and since has deleted the thread to stop getting laughed at) you'd see the difference - stood around mezzed for 35 seconds, as opposed to ripping support apart within 5seconds of contact.

Try another test, get buffs on the 2 of you, on a 50 savage with det3/4 and a similar RR, then try own it again.

What makes a savage > reaver/valewalker is mostly determination, well played reavers/valewalkers will own almost any class solo, look at whyp or Psychox.

but bof really does not seem to work in that pic, thats normal damage on a target with good resists :/

2h has proven to have a larger dmg output then the h2h, With my 40 savage haste buff and healer celerity i swing faster as a buffed 50 infil with a 5.5 spd 2hander.

my guess is that kuca hadnt attacked anyone/gotten attacked and because of that still had speedchant up, ill have to confer with the dead skull of einstein ofc to be 100%sure.

See.... Mezzed at 0:23, moving at 0:58. An equal RR Savage would have been moving before 0:36 with that same mezz on him.


Note to Thire: Demezz your hybrids when they scream like a bitch in /g. They aren't much help to anyone stood around for half the fight contemplating speedhacks.


edit: Oh, I'm enjoying watching the video some more. Shows me how a skilled Reaver is to be played... A total of 4 Slams (2 of which are on the same pet), and 0 styled hits. Nice ;)


edit: Hmmm... and why doesn't Tildai have a dex/qui buff? Dropping Qui to frontload? But lose your weaponskill and damage as Flex is Dex/Str based, and style procs aren't reduced by Qui... Nice ;)

this is why excal>pryd

on pryd they still using 2hd savages for the wtfpwn big dmg, but any decent shield tank will stop a 2hd savage pretty easy.

you can block h2h but the only ppl who i've seen do it effectively are rr8+ (ppl like regtur, chuffy and gwalmar) and are packing 60+shield and red dex buffs.

FC did with only the sorc dying, although I think this is the fight when JH came along and gang raped everyone when we were finishing up.

Actually no, we killed 2 fg albs as you can see some corpses still there. Then FC added, in the end of the movie JH is coming and most of us are alive, only Kuca down if I remember correct.

Me, Miss and someone else legged it and went back to ress after JH killed rest of LA and wiped FC.

Ok so it may have been 3 hits, but in another situation it could have been 2, 186 off hand isn't that unlikely.

Watch the video carefully and you see Miss is weilding a drum, so there was no speed chant, I dunno how kuca moved that fast prolly some stupid bug, was anooying though cus 2 secs later she killed me :(

Also all of LA get hit by my mezz putting them in combat.

Fight was ours though until JH added and Poon killed me after being rezzed.

Edit: Wuren watch the video again, Bluebolts died at start, then got rezzed, Kuca died, and a celt died. Plus you were all due for a remezz, where as most of FC was immune to mezz for a while yet.

And yes thire should definately have demezzed tildai :/

The mezz lands at 0:01. It is not clear if Kuca gets mezzed, but there is plenty of time to purge, move away, get out of combat (the pet is still mezzed, so not effecting anything there) as you see Kuca running in at 0:17.

resisted spells and melee misses do put you in combat, but you still have speed until the end of the current pulse.

Ah chanter speed explains it then, the mezz was prolly immune from the fight vs the original alb group, then after 10 secs speed kicks in.
