Im sorry, but theres something wrong with this person, he must not see it, to think someone... even ONE person "loves" him is beyond a joke, i think someone should start up a vote and see what the results are... i'd say 75% of people think halo is a prick, the rest can join him.

Psi, ever heard of supply and demand?
People here want to see flames and so it happens. Why else would a thread as pointless as this cover 5 pages and recieve 1500+ views?

One assumes ~50 people are reading this thread and whether they are repulsed or amused, they do return.



I wanted to see a flamefest so I started a thread and let everyone else flame for me. If it doesn't amuse you, do not read this or any other thread on BW. Most are filled with flames and that's how I like them.

The thing is Generic you're contradicting yourself right there. Pudz is right people do care about what I say, they care about what you say, hell they even care about Halo here, if they didn't care they'd do what 90% of the people that play the game do and not even touch these boards. Man you even care enough about what I say to contradict someone who agrees Forums are a great place to do what people want to do and thats be self centered, apart from my wife I'm the most important person in my world, cos this is my world, from my perspective anyway.

Forums like this cater perfectly to that self-gratifying piece of our minds, we make comments and people reply to them, they care what we say, whether they love it or hate it, and if they hate it, so what its not as if you'll ever really see them in real life, you can be as downright nasty as you like, cos hell this is your world right?

Anyway I still have work to do (nerf nightshifts)

We don't tend to ban people at Barrysworld unless its very severe, certainly it does have to be a marked rise above flame baiting and bitching (that wonderful incident with death threats and elaborate descriptions of murder plans seemed to hit the mark though, for those that remember the psychopathic past). And I can differentiate between having a joke with someone in the OT and being a mod, I'm not simple, "Oooh, look, someone's threatening to rip out someones soul and posting hardcore porn.... Oh, but the other day he did make me laugh with a joke about hippos, so....".

Anyway, this thread isn't very nice, its not constructive and not worth any more posts. Maybe you can start up a #daoc.hatematch room in IRC or something?
