I get the occasional texture problem when I cross over to Portland, but on Staunton Island and Shoreland Vale it's perfect.

Yeah. A whole heap of choppiness, slow movement and low resolution.
(GeForce 4400 has just been ordered, though)

Also, one of the radio stations plays the theme music from the original GTA.I'm sure that wasn't in the PS2 version.

Has anybody managed to get their steering wheel working with it yet?
I know there's no native support, but I was hoping to be able to use the MS SideWinder software to create a GTA3 profile and manually assign keys to wheel movements and so on, except the SideWinder software hasn't been updated since before Windows 2000 came out and so only works on Win 98. I've trawled all over the MS site and you can only download v.3.02, although I've seen articles that mention v4.0. Perhaps this holds the key. Does anybody have this?
Anyone? I'd love to be able to use my wheel in this game.![]()
I have the Sidewinder Precision 2 software, if that helps you at all...Originally posted by SomeGuy

Well on the other forums I've visited I've not seem ONE post about someone flying a dodo for so long without cheating - I've watched friends playing (PS2 and PC) and havent seen one of them manage 20+ secs yet. If it can be done - how?
